right, don't want to get excited yet and i'm not 100%, but i think the letter is bascally saying the fluid from the haemorrhage we knew about (when rhys was roughly 3wks old) is still there (we knew it was when he was 8wks old and assumed it'd stayed) and not drained away. That is what they want the notts specialist to see him about which is probably to discuss putting a drain in to get rid of it - we were warned about that at the beginning but it was made out to be not a huge thing when you consider the end result.
The good news is that there is "no significant celebral atrophy" which is the damage / loss of cells in the brain which could have meant cerebal palsy, and also he is showing "no signs of intercranial pressure", meaning the fluid isn't causing him any problems at the minute..

I think Feelie meant Aston stays with Ryry and NOW OH? Rather splitting the boys?
I know if it was me who dropped dead - OH would have all three children, they come as a full set!(I really should have something in writing shouldn't I?)
........wanders off to find out about OH getting parental responsibility for the big two........
And panic - I thought the new sofa wasn't coming until Christmas week, and i've just had an email to say its arrived earlier than expected, and is in the warehouse, ready for despatch.
And only half the room is stripped.:beer:0 -
sounds like you need to get stripping, 3!

Are you married to your OH,3? If you are then you can sign a step-parent parental responsibility agreement for him to get parental responsibility. (I believe it is free:money:) However, if the biological father has parental responsibility then you would need him to sign the form too.
ETA if you want the form (and instructions on what to do!) let me know and i'll get it for you xProud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0 -
Almost 8 years - but we were secret (without the kids involved) for the first two years!
Me and ex-oh split when Liv was about 6 months old (should have been sooner!):beer:0 -

I'm amazed that there is always someone here who knows about everything!
Me and OH aren't married (yet).
Ex doesn't have parental responsibility - we never married, and they were both born before the law changed.
Yes please!:beer:0 -
Elle, sounds like positive news0

Here is the form and there are instructions at the end of it.

But essentially you complete the form, wander over to your local county court with your OH. Take ID docs which show you have PR yourself for the child e.g birth certificate and you are married to your OH (when you do!) e.g marriage certificate .They witness you signing it and sign it themselves and you then post it to the main family court which is The Principal registry of the Family Division. They record the date on which they receive it and record that your OH has PR for the child and they then send a stamped copy back to you.Proud Mummy to Leila aged 1 whole year:j0
