Elle, appeal it. They may have put down 'not needing any more care' due to them assessing him as under 13 weeks.

All this finance talk made me go look at my pension stuff again and I'd forgotten I only get basic rate tax relief by default - I have to go and ask for higher rate credit somehow! Grr, but also yay as that should be a fair chunk I think... off to investigate! Thanks Weezl and co :D

em, could he not be at his mums when she is there???

I was about to say exactly the same!

Its infuriating! Does DSD's mother not realise how lucky she is to have another parent wanting to be part of the childs life? There are so many fathers who walk away from their children (financially & emotionally) - its a pity she didn't breed with one of those fathers!

Does she have any other children/new partner? Its such a shame that DSD is missing out on fun with a (half) sibling.

Feelie He's done well for sitting for two months and only having his first bump today! :T

We're very much the same as Mel - in that things will work themselves out! (Is this a bad side of my laid back nature?)
We've both got Civil Service pensions at the moment - although I'm not sure what they pay out, and OH will soon have a nice Police pension too.
And i've no idea what would happen to the children if anything happened to both of us? I certainly don't want the big two to go to Ex or any of his horrendous family, but I don't really want my parents to have them either! And my sister is too dippy to look after herself atm - hopefully she'll improve with age?

Do any of my lovely MSE Mummy's (& Bruno) want three lovely children to join their family should anything happen? :D

Oh I wondered if Sami did what that Mum of 8 did, she took a photo of each kid sat next to thier first potty poo!

Elle, be careful with your googling. ((hugs)) Did you keep a cop of DLA form? I'm stupid and forgot to photocopy mine.

Weezl - will you be getting a gender scan?

Tia - something you'd buy anyway would be good value. Any Deals are good, what about magazine subscription for Xmas pressie?

Em - do you have to revuew it soon? Seems slly to send one for oler babies!

AM - would it be an option to ask your Mum to consider if Aston could go to OH? It depends how things are at the time, he might be happiest there?

Thanks for reassurance about LO. He seems fine, he ate well, no sick and looks normal.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

  • If I died I know my boys would end up being split up which is sad.

I also have this problem as Oh is not DD1's real dad. OH has said that she can stay with him or she could go to my parents, although she sees her dad regularly I dont think she would choose to live there. My main worry is that should anything happen to me Oh would move back to Rochdale where his family live and my parents would miss out on DD2 growing up. His family are bonkers and to say I would not like them involved in her upbringing is an understatement! He has had a very poor upbringing with alot of violence from his mother, which is why I dont involve her in our life.

Oooh yeah Weezl are you finding out the sex of baby?

All this talk, although I suppose necessary is rather morbid... I like to think I am invincible lol x

    I am in agony.

I told him I wanted an injection so I didn't feel the scale and polish cause it bloody hurts when it's buzzing under your gums and cutting your mouth up trying to get to my wisdom teeth.

OH MY GOD. I got about 15 needles jabbed all along the top and bottom gum line. I was actually crying!

Also I had to get another filling as he didn't see that one before.....It's the one I told him about! It's the only one that was visible and I could feel. So another £12.60 gone to that dentist. MY TEETH ARE CRAP!

Also he put some filling type crud on my front teeth as they were a bit see through at the bottom and he was like ""does that feel ok" I was like, well I dunno I can't feel my mouth! It feels HORRIBLE!! My mouth doesn't feel like it's sitting right as I think he built it up too much behind my front teeth so the bottom are touching a diffo part and I dunno if im back teeth are touching properly now.

I can't eat, I can't drink - the evidence of such is now soaking my trousers, and you'll all be pleased to know I can't smoke either as my lips aren't working.

My nose and part of my cheeks are numb too. I imagine this is what someone who's had a stroke feels like, no matter how hard they try, can't get their mouth to move. I can't speak properly :(

Also I don't have any sort of insurance except house insurance! If me and OH dies I'm not sure where she'd go, probably my mum but then I think they would bring her up wrong, my sister is a douche, they hit her when she is bad (which I don't agree with and sometimes it's WAY TOO MUCH) they have money probs etc.

Be better off going with OH's parents, at least they'd bring her up with some morals and manners
