Hi,
I spend between £50 - £60 each week for 2 adults and 2 school aged children. Included in this is usually a case of beer for boyfriend, treats such as crisps , sweets chocolate, all toiletries and cleaning stuff and all my meat and poultery organic or free range.Baby Numner 4 due 7th May 2016

Are you by any chance a student Dave, that is not healthy eating, beans on toast and fruit fine but spud and peas is not very good.
i'm not a student
peas aren't good for you? they are green vegetables last time i looked. how can geen veg not be good for you? i dont even put any salt on them or actually on any food.Martin has asked me to tell you I'm about to cut the cheese, pull my finger.0 -

the beans on wholemeal bread and blackberries that i'd picked for free were my breakfast. i only have 2 meals a day, breakfast and lunch, the two most important meals. i don't believe in having a late meal as i don't want to go to bed with food sitting in my stomach.Martin has asked me to tell you I'm about to cut the cheese, pull my finger.0 -

If I ate like this every day I'd be in my skinny jeans in no time!
By my rough calculations and bearing in mind that I do not know the portion sizes:
Wholemeal bread (say 4 slices) 280 cals.
Beans (small tin) 140 cals
Blackberries (a punnet's worth) 50 cals
backed potato (largeish) 280 cals
peas (a lot) 100 cals
That is only 850 cals - and hardly any protein, you've not reached 5 a day and you've had no calcium. Your body is not a temple, it is a bedsit! Even if you double the baked beans portion it's still hardly a shed!House saving Targets:

Some people eat just to live/survive - other people enjoy their food and like eating.
Trust me to be the latter

Yes both peas and potato are veg but that is not a balanced or healthy meal, you have no protein in it. According to your 'menu' for yesterday you didn't have any dairy so no calcium. If you eat like that all the time then it is not a healthy balanced diet.2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32
