People parking in our space

Hi
I had the same issue when I was renting a flat. If the management company isn't interested in moving your space then perhaps you could badger them to set up a contract with an official clamping service. The clampers should provide signage and give you a number to call. You may find that other neighbours are having the same trouble and would appreciate having a formal method of dealing with it.
Alternatively, PM me and I'll come and smash the windows while you're at the pub.0 -
Did your previous exploits make the local press? Get a snippet of it and stick that on his windscreen - might make him think twice! :rotfl:
Seriously though, we had this problem a lot at our old place. Owners all ended up buying blocking poles, for us renter's though, some used traffic cones/gas bottles - although they can be moved they do work very well - especially with a laminated printout/sign fixed to the front saying "private parking" - it takes a lot of front to move one of those although some folk might!
If not search ebay for a cheap pole and install it yourself - surely the LL won't mind - you can get a good trade in on your nail gun to help pay for it - and ensure you don't make another mistake0 -
Unfortunately alot of residents end up going down the clampers route to truly sort these issues.0

OP - Where in the UK do you live? I have been parking in someone elses spot in our block, and you've got me a little worried!!Profit=sanity
Turnover=vanity
Greed=inhumanity:dance:0 -
I would follow these steps:
1) Place a piece of paper on the car politely asking him not to park in your space.
2) Glue a piece of paper to the car with the same message (prit-stick).
3) Use sticky back paper to attach the same message to the screen.
4) Use araldite to stick it to the windscreen!
The more he parks in your space, the stickier the polite notice gets...
Or as you like nails, you could always place one under the front tyre, so that it punctures it when he reverses. I recommend doing it at night, or perhaps not at all if there's CCTV...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

Well maybe it's high time you stopped. From your perspective, why is it your right to park in someone elses space?Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

I am about to complete on a house on Friday and two cars have been using the driveway for the past few months. Got this to come!! Should be interesting when i try and move next weekFreePremiershipOnline.com - your guide to free streaming football0

He might be parking there because he is a 2nd car to their rented flat and doesn't have a 2nd fob. Or he might be the bf of somebody who lives there and couldn't give a tinker's chuff if it's your space or not. People who park in the spaces of others always have a ridiculous attitude of "well, you can park elsewhere".
How about making yourself a nice fake Disabled Parking sign for your space. Or a sign that says "For Towed Vehicles Call ......"0 -

I use a driveway like that when I am away - it's me and a plumber he knew and a B&B up the road. All were told by the owner "park there, makes it look inhabited".
They'll therefore be ready for your sudden appearance and will give you a jaunty smile/wave and "no problem mate" and won't park there again.0
