Free X Factor Votes discussion

This is impossible, in my opinion.
Just do the math.
A "standard" vote on the x-factor is 35p
Then Free2Call will have to pay its technology system costs (routing the call etc.)
Then, Profit
Chances are, the advertiser must be paying 40p for each person that listens to the advert - which is potentially millions of people. No company will want to pay this much for what is pretty much un-targeted marketing!0 -
Is this an April fool? If not I think everyone should vote for the twins to win.0
-
one thing that is interseting to note from freetocall.tvs terms and conditions...3. You may vote as many times as you like but the eligibility of any vote entry is at the sole discretion of BML using this method.
Surely this term means they don't have to do anything with your votes...
and how would they decide if your vote is eligible before the connection to the official phone line?0 -

So, although the votes are counted fairly these days, there's more chance of getting through for the one they think should win. When Will Young and Gareth Gates were in the final together, Will had 3x as many lines as Gareth, so many of Gareth's voters didn't get through, where Will's did.
In short, it's all one massive rip-off.
Bitter Will fan by any chance?

I got the same... sounds like I got charged.....0 -
I just read the T and C's and as long as you get 03 numbers as part of ur inclusive allowance OR you have cross network minutes you should NOT have been charged. At least thats what it says anyway... see here

This is the exact message I heard too, I didn't take the chance on listening to the advertising and then still have to pay the 35p as per usual. They did not say, this call is free!!0
