Holey moley, just bought myself a moon cup and these things are huge!!!!Just waiting for that time to come so I can try it out. Not sure if its going to get in there though!!!Wish me luck
Good luck! Although I'm sure you'll be fine. Persevere with it (do you remember how difficult tampons were to start with?) it'll become second nature in less time than you'd think.
I would say though, get it wet (rinse under a tap) and try when you're not on. That way there's no pressure to get it right first time. Work out how to get it in and out and get used to how it feels while there's no blood to contend with!
As for how it feels, I do remember it being a very odd feeling to start with, but now I regularly panic I might have left it in the sink when actually I'm wearing it because I cannot feel it at all.
ETA: Have a look further up this thread and try out some of the different folds, I (still?!) haven't had a chance to try any in practice (should I be worried? hehe) but I have folded my mooncup like that to see how much difference it makes and it definitely makes it look slimmer, I think it was called the punch down fold.:heart2: Give blood. :female: Use a mooncup.
But ensure the two are not connected!0 -

:rotfl: :rotfl: Funnily enough so do I.
Am pleased to report that second usage even easier than first - no leaks, no odours, lot less cramping, not really 'aware' of wearing it at all.
Sooo wish I'd found out about this sooner. (DD slightly alarmed that Father Christmas will bring her one......:D ).
essexgal;)old enough to know better, young enough not to care;)0 -

I know I'm probably being dim but if anyone knows where it is and could post a link that would be great.
Hi Swishy_bell
As a stockist myself, I would advise you to go for the smaller B size. Like you I'm very small with a very good pelvic floor. I'm a 41 year old mother and I can still get away with a B. If you are light as well, all the better.:beer:I'm free from tampons - another Mooncup Convert!

Fabulous! It's one of those things - it can take some persevering, but once you've got it, you've got it.I'm free from tampons - another Mooncup Convert!

well, thats the first couple of days done. tbh the first day was almost enough to make me give up, I do get quite heavy sometimes so maybe it was just one of those days, I had to empty the mooncup every hour!!Now things down there have settled a bit and its a bit more manageable. I seem to be a bit leaky at times but maybe i just need to get used to putting it in right. I will definitely stick with it for a while longer before giving up, its a great idea.0

It really is worth persevering with. If you were emptying your cup that regularly, you probably would've been changing your other protection every 30 mins! If you are getting leaks, you need to check that the cup is fully opened and doesn't have a dimple or fold in it and that it's not sitting too high up in your vaginal passageway. Good luck!!I'm free from tampons - another Mooncup Convert!

Another vote for just the best thing ever! Took a little getting used to, but so good not to be aware of it at all and not having to buy tampons every month!0
