do you rely on those sales for your main income? what company do you use for the templates?0

I know you (OP) didn't expect two dozen Miss Marples on the case but is there not another account you can use?Can I help?0
-
If the OP gets caught using another account then he/she is likely to be suspended on that account as well.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Woohoo! I'm normal! Gotta go tell the cat.0 -
i would just communicate with the bay, do as they say & get your original account back, the one that buyers are used to, rather than farting around with another ebay id & risk getting that blown aswell0

I do yes. I've been a single mum for the past year so I had to find something quick to pay the bills.
I do all the graphic/template stuff myself using Photoshop and Dreamweaver.0 -
arushofblood, if there is more to this than just the one isolated incidence then what you do depends on what the original suspension notice said. As I asked at first, were you told it was a temporary suspension (as would be the case for a minor infringement) or were you just informed that your account was suspended?
If it is the former you should be able to comply with their id requirements and get your account up and running in about 2-3 weeks. If it is a general suspension, ie the matter was more serious or there was evidence of more than one incidence of infringement then you could be looking at a much longer 'holiday'.
Shill bidding is a source of great irritation to many people and there are several threads a week on here discussing getting people banned because of it.
Incidentally, you can end your auction even with less than 12 hours to go:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/edit_listing.html
where it says under reviisons:
Tip: If you want to revise your listing but there are less than 12 hours left, or there are bids for the item, you may need to end your listing early and relist it with your changes
Whilst suspended do not be tempted to trade using a different id. That will get all your ids banned permanently.

Couple of points
For future ref if you want to bid out your own auctions just set up a new ebay account (obviously use a fake name and address) if you use an email address from your IP provider you won't be asked for credit card details etc and if you don't file a Non paying bidder on yourself ebay couldn't give a monkies and will just take their fees.
Like soolin says IP address has nothing to do with it.
If you do get a permanent or lengthy ban (from the sounds of things I don't think you will). If ebay is your business your gonna need to get a new ebay account so your probably gonna have to consider working in a relatives/friends name.
Your IP address may also be blocked by ebay if so not quite sure the workaround for this but I imagine Soolin will know.
I don't know if IP addresses are ISP specific or not i.e if you change ISP's are you allocated a new IP address or is your IP address permanent irrelevant of which ISP your with? Help us out soolin.
If the latter is the case then it's probably gonna be internet cafes or a friends house from now on ;+(
But like I said I don't think you'll be getting a permanent ban.

Actually only read the first page of this thread before I replied, just read the rest and yep think your gonna get a permanent ban so I would be checkin out the ISP issue if I was you. Good luck.

btw there is some good news you'll still be able to use your present paypal account - you can tie any auction through any ebay account into any paypal account you like - the names don't have to match.0 -
There are sites which you can use that hide your IP address, you go on these sites and enter the website you'll like to visit, in this case eBay, then eBay cannot see your IP address and cannot ban you or whateva. Also, if eBay is worth alot to you and you do earn a living out of it then the only way to get round this problem would be to get a new internet provider and your IP adress will change, though this can be costly in the sort term it is worth it in the longer run. Am i right?
Hope that helped.0 -

what part of the initial thread makes you think it is gonna be a permanent ban? if this is a 1st offence suspension, he will be able to get his account back aslong as he agrees to the terms in the emails that ebay send him (unless this suspension is down to something so severe)
i am 99.9% sure that ebay give you a second chance - do it again you are out, red card, sent off etc etc never to return0
