Yo, Crabbers.........
Never around when I am are you??
Thanks to everyone - I doubt I will get time this week to do any emails etc as I am getting home quite late these days...... but will make an effort next weekend!
As said before, wouldn't the site r2rc etc have sent details out to all and sundry?? I'll do some emails any way - feel free to do the same!
Let me know when MSE feature it - I'm half asleep these days and may miss it.......

This subject is too important to be allowed to slip down to page four

From what I have grasped from the r2rc website today, BER runs out in May 2010 and not October...
Plus, they say that writing to MP's and MEP's is pointless as they have no say or vote in this..... it is all down to some European commission. And I get the impression that the commissioners do pretty much what they like ..
Need a rethink guys & gals .. any advice or thoughts welcome.Genie

There is a mention the r2rc website about a deadline date of 25th September 2009, dunno what that refers to tho its all a bit long winded.0 -

We could all dress up as spanners and go to Brussels to protest?

She's very bossy............
And so........
Crabman has gone into hiding yet again.. gutless...
I used to admire him and then I slept with him and things have never been the same since. I feel so used...

Not sure about making this a sticky Jeannie, is there really anything we can do given the r2rc site's comment that it's an EU issue hence pointless writing to MPs? Is this going to apply across the EU? What are other member states doing if anything?jeannieblue wrote: »And so........

Also there's a 5 sticky maximum per board... don't mind you bumping this thread every now and then provided you stop with the sleazy rumours

Sleazy??? You call 'us' sleazy? I am nearly deeply offended...
I had a pm from Martin to say that they are looking into all of this and that it wasn't one of his core issues but MSE would be doing something on it...
I don't know what other member states are doing...
I'm trying to drum up some support.....
But I am not sure I can be bothered to nag anyone anymore. Guess i will just look forward to coming on this site next year and when we get all the moans - I can say 'told you so'!!
Crabbers, I work full time and quite long hours so I don't really get alot of time to delve and do more than I am, being annoying etc...
I had a customer in tonight, and I mentioned the Block Exemption - he hadn't even heard of it. This is so typical - how can you ask people to support something when they didn't even know it existed in the first place?
Frankly Crabbers, I am losing heart. I know that their are a hell of alot of jobs at risk here and that the consumers are going to come a 'major cropper' - but b8ggered if i know what to do anymore.... apart from being usually British and accepting it. (With a stiff upper lip of course).Genie
