But, it seems egg have a dedicated site section of 'current deals' and 'immediate cashback' offers.
Are there any other gems there? Are they regular?
Is it worth getting the card just to have access to the site page?

Maybe if you are in transit for 3 hours at Singapore or something.
Otherwise, always check in online and arrive 45 minutes before and walk straight to the plane. Why would you spend any longer at the airport?0 -

If you end up transiting 3 hours in Singapore, you are very lucky, 3 hours in Singapore is not enough time, need more there, there is SO much to do at the airport there, don't even bother with a lounge at Singapore.
As for rocking up 45 minutes before your flight, tried doing that at Heathrow recently? Seen the security lines?"An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -

Thanks, I wasn't aware the page was freely accessible like that. Figured you had to log in as an online banking customer to see it.
The rest of the offers don't seem all that fab, so I won't bother applying, but will keep an eye out for page changes.
Thanks again.0 -

I know this is somewhat cheeky, but does anyone know how easy it is for food to "accidently fall" into a plastic bag in my hang luggage- DD hates plane food & we have a 6 hour wait at Philadelphia then 5 hour flight from there to Seattle with no food provided
Thanks !
I am fairly new here and I have been helped on 2 seperate ocasions but it's when I see posts like this that I cringe and think that the name of the site could be changed to money stealing expert. If someone can afford to fly to Seattle, surely buying a sandwich isn't beyond their means.
I hope no-one is going to show this person how to steal the food.

Used the lounge in Machester and have to say I was disappointed as it was not a patch on the BA lounge. It was drinks & snack stuff no sandwiches.
It was also quite small so if you arrive at a busy time you may not get a seat. Having said that, it was clean and they did replenish the stock frequently.0 -

Hi All,
Just whiling away a couple of hours at KLM Rembrandt, Pearson Intl, Toronto and thought you guys might want to know what it's like.
Well, it's bigger than the lounge at Gatwick. It is airy and very comfortable.
It has armchairs and tables and chairs. Lots of foreign newspapers.
3 computer terminals, telephones and a fax machine - not sure about wi-fi though. There is a good selection of spirits although my favourite - Tia Maria - isn't on the menu. A huge frdige full of beer and soft drinks, red and white wine. The only edible stuff is packets of biscuits and bowls of pretzels.
It's worth the 4 quid each that we paid but I certainly wouldn't pay any more than that.
Oh it was really hard to find and nobody at the airport seemed to know where it was either so if it helps, it's opposite gate 32 up the lift and it's called the KLM Crown (which confused us even more!)
Back in good ole Blighty tomorrow, any questions, ask away...I haven't got one!0
