Hey these airport lounges are a place to relax grab a drink and a snack. A cup of coffee would set you back at least £2.00 at the airport. It is NOT a place for cooked breakfast, they do clearly state is is for snacks and drinks.

OOps I hope its not the case about flying to the US as I have just booked from Manchester to Orlando on 24/06.

i'm flyin gatwick to las vagas but want to get this cleared up before booking glad i'm not the only one who read the us bit this way any body got an ideas as not so much a good offer if we all book and those going to the states can't go in anybody used it on their travels to the US

All persons must be in possession of a valid flight ticket for the same day of travel and outside the US, flight tickets must be accompanied by a valid boarding pass for a departing flight, i.e. outbound passengers only. Please

I think it means that if you are outside the US (as in not inside) then as well as a ticket you need a boardng pass. If you are flying out you will have this, so you will be able to use it.

I am going to Florida via the south terminal at gatwick and booked four tickets no problem there. Why not give them a call and check if you are worried.

Hi guys,
The lounge at Gatwick was great, perfect start to my hols. Wine, spirits, crisps, cakes, biscuits - highly recommended. Let's hope Toronto airport is just as good on the way home!

Glad to see that Gatwick lounge has been rated highly by other moneysavers! Can't wait for August to come - off to Orlando (just a shame there is no lounge fo rthe return trip!)!

Used it yesterday at LGW South on my way back to Jersey. Cost showed as £18. On cc statement I got an immediate £13.50 discount. On top of that I used Quidco, so got another £1.80 discount. Pretty good value.

Lounge itself was average at best (please note, I'm not trying to sound snobbish in anyway, but I use BA lounges on a regular basis, so that is what I'm comparing it on). The seats were very worn, you had to pay for internet and the lounge itself was actually fairly small. Also there were kids running around.

However the staff were very friendly, there was a decent drinks selection, there were quite a few snacks as well.

The lounge was a bit of a treck from the departure gate though (about 15 minute walk).

However it was much better than spending 1.5 hours in Gatwick South, which I'm not a great fan of.

However all in all great value for only £2.70. However I probably wouldn't pay the regular £18 price for lounge access at Gatwick South.
