It came, I'm off to bookI haven't got one!0 -
2 Questions;
1) Can't take advantage of this offer. I cancelled my card some time ago, but I can still access my account. However, when I try to input my card details to take up the offer It won't accept it. Yet, when I try to order another Egg card I'm told that I already have one.
2) If I do manage to book what's the best time to book for allowing for check in and boarding to get the most out of it?
Thanks0 -
answers, question 1
you can't apply for another egg card within 12 months of cancelling
question 2
We are allowed to check in 4 hours before our flight I have therefor booked for 3 hours from this time as the last hour would be making your way to the gateI haven't got one!0 -

You could try applying for a different Egg card.
e.g. if you have the Egg card, then try applying for the Egg Money card.
I don't know for sure what the rules are but it might be 12 months for the same card.
The cashback applies to both.If I do manage to book what's the best time to book for allowing for check in and boarding to get the most out of it?
I put in 3 hours before because we are allowed 3 hours.
But during the last 30-45 mins you'll be making your way to the gate anyway.
I have NEVER seen them kicking people out of a lounge and they don't know who's who anyway, so I suspect this is just to stop people taking advantage but they rarely enforce it.
To be honest you aren't going to need more than a couple of hours anyway (unless flight is delayed and even in that case I've never seen them kick people out). I am pretty sure this is just to cover themselves against extreme cases of people drinking the place dry.0 -
Does anyone know whether I would I be able to use my Egg card to book the lounge for my parents?0
-

When you book, it will ask you to fill in the passenger details, just put their names in.
You will need to printoff the voucher, and you will also need your Boarding Pass to gain entry.0
