Oh no
There was a spider in the downstairs bathroom yesterday, and when I just went in to move it along it has disappeared  Don't want to go back in now (was a big spider)
There has just been a piece on BBC breakfast about spiders. The spider geek guy said if you don't want spiders in your bath to leave a towel on the side so they can climb out.
Hello?! Are you mental?? Contained Spider v's Spider On The Loose

Morning all, last day of work for this week
Have a busy weekend planned, Have docs tommorrow at 9am, then shopping and then my mum, stepdad and 3 young siblings are coming round for a picnic.
Sunday- OH's family are coming round for a BBQ. But im having a lay in sunday morning, will be the first chance i have to have one in over a week
Congrats Nicki! I love the name EdwardMorning!
Glad you picked up the heartbeat EA
No news from me...debating a scan versus a doppler...I'm desperate to find out the sexBut just don't know if I can justify the spend...someone justify it for me?
Thanks, i keep listening to the recording i made
My reasons for you to find out the sex. By making that spend for a private scan, not only are you bonding with your baby before the birth, but you will save money in the long run. If you dont find out you may decorate the nursery white/cream/yellow/etc. And have to re-decorate blue/pink later.
By knowing you can save money and do what you want to the nursery in the first place.
You will be able to buy clothes in advance (3-6m 6-9m) and know to get boys or girls clothes, meaning you can pick some up cheap in the sales etc
And plus they are just cool!Be careful with a doppler, not finding the heartbeat can lead to alot of heartache. Even the professionals struggle to find it sometimes, I'm sure the babies know you're listening in and try and hide in the back:rotfl:
I swear this baby was hiding somewhere in my pelvis, the heartbeat sounded like it was far away :rotfl:0 -
gym- I had my scan at 28 weeks there is a certain time best to have it whoever you decide to go with will advise. It was nice seeing the baby one last time, but very weird in a good way. I have recommended to friends we paid about £130 from memory with video, dvd and sexing.Received £2,626.00 in PPI -2013:j
Received £1400 charges - 2006:j0 -
Oh I kept my room fairly neutral even though we "know" the sex, mistakes can happen. I never wanted a pink or blue room so we have white with orange, green and pink fabric and toys... just meant I could get some girly baby grows.. because I had boy ones as well but either way all will be worn ha ha.Received £2,626.00 in PPI -2013:j

Includes, 45mins scanning, sexing, wellbeing scan, picture disc, 1X A4 photo, 3X 6'4" photos and a 15 min DVD.
But they range from £130 (which includes nothing and you have to pay extra anyway for pics lol) for the basic pack to £250 for the top amazing pack :eek:0 -
Hi All
Just a quick stop in to post a pic before I go for a nap - had a terrible night last night, though mainly because of having sore boobs, sore back and sore bits all at once! Elsa actually slept pretty well for a first night at home and didn't want to be woken for her middle of the night feed. She'd just had her first bath and had the canula removed from the IV...

Thanks, Nanc
Am amazed how cute she is as neither of her parents could be described in that way
We've just put her down in her nursery for the first time - she looks like a wee sausage roll, swaddled up in the middle of the cotbed. :A Everything's just a bit too big for her at the mo (the babygro she has on in the pic is a newborn one!)MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

ML - awww, what an adorable little thing!
I love that she's in non-gendered clothing, hurrah! (look at all that hair!)
gym - if you want to find out the sex, go for it, but don't feel like you HAVE TO to bond with baby properly. Loads of people never find out the sex or choose not to (we did). I have multiple reasons for not wanting to find out but it's truly not the end of the world! We've got some boy-ish looking babygros & some girly looking cardigans, but who cares? The baby certainly doesn't. Anyway, if you're dying to find out then go ahead and book the scan otherwise you'll wind up obsessing about it, hehe.
