Just called my docs back after they left a message on my voicemail.
Im anemic apparently. Have a prescription to pick up tomorrow.
Just had a slice of pizza from the co-op for my breakIt was yummy until a wasp decided he would like it. I of course froze making weird scared noises and OH was saying "just throw the pizza away"
I didn't, but it left me alone and i enjoyed the rest of my pizza slice :rotfl:0 -
I forgot to say congrats to Nicki, what a healthy weight!!
I feel sad everytime someone has a baby cos you've all been here since way before me and have got so used to seeing you all around.

Aww Beenie, thats nice x It'll not be long before you are over on the Parent Thread and you can catch up with everyone again. It has been quiet on here tho with the mass September clan leaving.
Don't suppose you want to update the list for Nicki? Am scared to touch it now after the last time I did it at least 8 girls asked for updates to dates and other edits. Was at the blasted thing all day, back and forward!!!0 -

Ladies help me
I was diagnosed with the dreaded swine flu late yesterday afternoon, i feel awful and cant even move out of bed
They have prescribed me relenza which my friend is picking up for me this morning, i tried googling the info about using it during pregnancy and the nhs site says that it is fine but the actual FAQ for Relenza is saying that it hasnt been tested so they dont know the risks
Has anybody seen or read any recent reports saying that it is safe to use in pregnancy
I had this when my mam had swine flu, the doctors gave me it incase I caught Swine Flu, the doctor told me it was tested extensvly in USA and no problems have cropped up?
I didnt take it, as personally I didnt see the point as I didnt have swine flu and doc just gave me it incase I got swine flu
EA - I panicked like hell when I was like 9 weeks cos I got a call from docs saying there was a prescription for me, and I was like what for and the receptionist couldnt tell me, so I got all worried, then I managed to calm myself down cos I thought well if it was something bad then they wouldnt just ring me for an appointment lol
The MW says my iron level was amazingly good14.4 I felt proud lol, I think its cos of pregnacare lol cos even though I love brocolli and eat a bit of it I dont really eat red meat or antyhing

Well on my blood tests MW said everything was fine, but i went to the docs cause i kept getting dizzy/light headed and exausted constantly. And i had some blood tests and an ECG recording cause i have an irregular heartbeat, and they called to say i need to take Pregnacare and i have a prescription for it
Which is good cause it costs lots of moneys :money:
I love brocolli to! And i dont really eat red meat, only mince meat and thats rare.0 -

Congratulations ML & Nicki!
Am actually getting excited about going up the list now (32nd now, only seems 5 mins since I was way way way at the bottom!), not trying to think about the actual birth but more looking forward to maternity leave and being a mummy as each day passes.
Have "abused" my access to the payroll system at work and calculated my net pay through to the end of the tax year - once I drop down to the SMP pay from the end of December (not the 90% for 6 weeks bit), I only pay a £10 tax /NI so can sort my budgeting out a lot better now and my last laser eye loan payment went out today too. Good job can work budget out too - we had our new enormous mortgage approved yesterday so just waiting for completion now.
Also just worked out I have less than 150 hours left in the office now and my replacement starts on Monday. Can't wait to leave, am so p'd off now it's beyond my belief.0 -
PrincessPlaty wrote: »thats whats doing me in at the moment is the breathing problems, the doctors have said they wont see me because im a risk to anybody else that is in the surgery
There is a strong history of asthma in my family to the extent that over the years i have watched my younger sister go blue and stop breathing on many occassions
Luckily i dont suffer from it to badly though i did when i was little, but it does coe back slightly when im ill (luckily that isnt often) so im wondering if that is making it worse
When i went to see the MW on monday i didnt feel right but i was ok IYKWIM my blood pressure was up and i got sent off for blood tests even though my urine was fine, after they took 8 bottles of blood from me  the results came back fine im wondering now if that is why my blood pressure was up though
see with your history of asthma you are already in a different situation from me, its just my personal opinion based on my own family history etc. Do you have a current inhaler? Have you spoken to doc about what to look out for with regards the breathing - you can still ring up even if they dont want you to go in. Dont worry about the mess, when you are healthy you can tidy it up in the meantime it is not important - its not going anywhere lol
Fell asleep yesterday afternoon - just could not stay awake any longer and whilst i was asleep dd decided she wanted to be a hairdresser - i might have to shave ds hair later, dd looks a state. She is such a monkey - when i was getting ds dressed this morning she wrote her name in biro on her hand - i didnt know whether to be pleased she wrote her whole name really nicely or mad she hadnt used paper like she knows she should!!! God knows what she is gonna get up to whilst i'm busy looking after baby.0 -

I dont understand why they have to be so expensive, us mums to be are poor!
Merrr, i feel so sick. Before 12pm i've eaten a bowl of wheeto's, a cupa soup and a slice of pepperoni pizza. No wonder im feeling poo :rotfl:0
