I finish work in 1 hour and 6 minutes!!!
Going home and im going to have a long bath and listen to music
Well i say long bath, i'll be about 25mins, i hate bing in water lol. It freaks me out
But until our shower is installed i have to be in the water
How many newborn nappies do you think i will need?
I wanted to stock up, already have 3 packs of 27 huggies ones.
I was going to get Tesco own brand as they have come tops in all the reviews i've read and my mum said they are great :money:0 -
Am I horrid for not taking any vitamins?
I took pregnacare during the first 12 weeks but the doctor then told me they're dressed up in fancy packaging to make you feel you should buy them, and as I am not anemic (my iron count was 15 - apparently v good for someone who doesn't eat red meat at all
) they're not necessary.
Lizziebell...I think you should buy a 207It's a gorgeous car, I loooove it, so so big in comparison to the Aygo too, almost felt like driving a bus being in something so comparatively massive!!
OH has managed to talk me out of getting an extra scan, said we can find out at 20 weeks & I'm being wasteful& we should save the money to get a 4d scan, though I'm not 100% sure as I kinda want the surprise of finding out what baby looks like at birth?! (do I sound mental?!) Still, trying to wangle one from family friend who works in the hospital who did me one at 13 weeks...so who knows, I might get a little freebie
Ooooh Always, I love that bouncer it's brilliant, would love lovely in my minimalist house...lalala wonders off to contemplate buying...
Had to do the most gross thing today, in Leeds there's a bin man strike and today's 3 weeks since they were last emptied, so I had to put the bags into the car and drive them to the tip  Still feel sick from it now - just eaten a pack of mini digestives, first thing I've been able to even try and eat since!! Might sue the council for the trauma
OH is taking me out tonight, I've gotta decide where to but not sure what I wanna eat...suggestions please?Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
p.s. ML Elsa is a little beauty
p.p.s. any thoughts on the name Marlowe (for a boy)?xBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -

Hubby has just told me about a new MRSA test that he has to give every patient from now on. He said i will have to have it as having a section. It's a swab from your......... perineum
I feel sorry for him having to do that, When his field is not naughty bits. He said you have to have it done a couple of days before any op. I am hoping this is just his place of work and not the hospital i will be going to.
What's wrong with the normal nose swab test. This is my signature!0 -
Elasti- I had that before surgery last year, it was done at the pre-op assessment but it was 'self administered' IYKWIM!! Don't think I would have been comfortable if someone else had done it! This was in addition to nose swab test0

Home at last!
The bus journey was awful, it was hot and sticky and smelly. And some woman bought her dog on and put him in the section were you put shopping and then the dog wouldn't get out the shopping bit when she wanted to get off. She was stood there pulling his lead and his face was smacking against the metal bar and she was yelling (in a high pitched voice
) "GET OUT, COME ON ITS TIME TO GET OUT"
After about 10 mins of this she lifted him out lol. I was thinking 'why couldn't she of done that after he didn't budge the first time' :rotfl:
Then another woman got her little trolley stuck under the bus which held it up. But im home, at lastelastigirl wrote: »Hubby has just told me about a new MRSA test that he has to give every patient from now on. He said i will have to have it as having a section. I had to do this for an op i had, not from my perineum thoughI dont know why but that word makes me smile
I had to rub a cotton bud up my nose and another on my groin. Maybe now MRSA chooses to live on the perineum :rotfl:0
