    morning!

    CSH, harley, squishy,

have any of you considered Evening primrose oil applied to cervix, nipple stimulation (one at a time with warm flannel) or foods containing natural prostaglandins like lobster?

    Love weezl x

Hmm, may try the EPO, not too keen on nipple stimulation (!) have limited feeling in nipples due to surgery and it makes me feel a bit sick :o
Have tried some natural prostaglandins, but haven't tried ingesting :rotfl:

Oh no :( There was a spider in the downstairs bathroom yesterday, and when I just went in to move it along it has disappeared  Don't want to go back in now (was a big spider) :o

    Morning!

Eek lots to catch up on today. Firstly, congrats to Nicki, so glad everything went well and you sound so happy :) & of course...

Congrats to ML - Elsa is such a lovely name :D Can't wait to see pics.

Glad you picked up the heartbeat EA :)

Weezl - shortbread is my favourite :( How sad that it's so fatty. I've always avoided looking at the cal content as it never makes me feel any better!!

No news from me...debating a scan versus a doppler...I'm desperate to find out the sex :o But just don't know if I can justify the spend...someone justify it for me? :D

    Morning ladies!

Nicki - congratulations! SO pleased your birth has turned into a really positive event for you after all you've been through.

Loads of new ladies so congratulations on your BFP's!

I don't post much on here but make sure I keep up with the thread. For the past three days I've been in pretty much contanst pain across the top of my bump. I seem to be carrying this one really low so am thinking it could be the top of bump getting bigger - I'm 30 weeks. I've tried the usual; para's, warm bath, wheat bag but nothing seems to help - it almost feels like someone is twisting the inside of my bump. Not asking for medical advice but just wondered if anyone knows anything that might ease it a bit.

    Thanks my lovelies!

When we went for our private scan, it did include an option to find out the sex of the baby, but they didn't use that as a reason for the scan: they were billed as being used to help the prospective parents bond with their babies. Does this help justify it? :p

Ours hospital doesn't tell you the sex at 20wk scan so we had a private one for £65 at about 16.5 wks. Was fab, couldn't have waited 9 mths to know!!
Be careful with a doppler, not finding the heartbeat can lead to alot of heartache. Even the professionals struggle to find it sometimes, I'm sure the babies know you're listening in and try and hide in the back:rotfl:

Hey all.. feeling loads better today, just drank fluids yesterday and rested up in the evening, just had soup for tea..

3 weeks left at work woop woop... My tummy is huge cant believe my skin has stretched so much, but touch wood no stretch marks yet..

At our 4d scan we decided to find out sex even though they told us at the nhs one.. I never decided to get a doppler after midwife said you quite often dont find the heart beat and then worry when you cant, and I havent missed not having one at all, just look forward to midwife appointments more. I didnt bond more after the private scan thought I would it actually made me feel really sick..

Have a lovely day everyone its sunny and a fab day for those expecting to pop!! x
