EA- best way to get rid of the charity muggers is say you don't live in the UK.
Works best if you put on an accent, obviously.
Haha, i'll put on a Borat style accent to deter them
My matenrity exemption card still isn't here  Im very impatient lol. I want to go to the dentist. I posted it a week and a half ago
I still ticked the maternity exemption card on my prescription thoughI got me two mahoosive bottles of peppermint gaviscon
The silly chemist put them both in a paper bag which promptly ripped when i got outside and smashed outside my gate. I live above the chemist, my front gate is next door lol.
So i went back in and they gave me another one in a plastic bag
Just had some wheeto's and a cupa soup, i cant decide which was the best one though0 -
we have a graco travel cot 32B.
I think they're great. Fergie sleeps in his full time now due to issues with leg thwacking in his wooden cot!:D
The only downside I'd say is you have to bend down much further than to a normal cot or a moses basket on a stand, so watch your back!

We had taken all the baby stuff out of the car as we needed to use the car boot over the weekend, and hubby was putting it all back into the car today while I was waiting with my maternity notes outside the front of the house - I told him that any neighbours watching probably now think I'm in labour :rotfl:
lol Squishy, that is just asking for trouble. They'll all be getting excited now.ChasingButterflies wrote: »Even though I felt sore at the tops of my legs and lower back I convinced myself I was just having BH:rotfl: dd3 proved that they weren't!
harley - unplug the phone - or is that me just being really anti-social?!
dd3 has finally been named :j Scarlet Zoe <insert difficult surname here>
CB, I have a back ache but nothing at tops of thighs. Back hurts only when I lie down and feels a bit like a trapped nerve but quite low down. Wishful thinking that it could be the start of something.
I'm quite tempted but if Mum couldn't get hold of me she would panic and that really isn't worth the risk, I'd never hear the end of it. Might start screening calls though.
Love the name Scarlett, can we have piccys please. This baby needs all the encouragement to come out that she can get.
Doorbell just went again, another neighbour. I've had enough now. Blackout blinds are closed and I am ignoring anyone else who decides to bother me for the forseeable future.:mad:Cross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

LOL it was a graco i was looking at, it has the bassinet in it for newborns so will not be too bad at first, safer than flying across the room as the big dog forgets where his butt is
Thanks think i will add it to the buying list.
Ooooh I'm jealous of the bassinet bit, ours was too old and a hand me down to have a new-fangled bassinet!:D

Hi All,
I don't know how you lot manage to keep up, when I try to read through the last page, another three pages seem to fill up!
I thought I would give an update on my bounty pack. I didn't phone the MW or anything, I just waited until my 24 week appointment to ask. However, I was really quite annoyed when she told me they don't give them out in our area. Because they promote breast feeding and the bounty pack contains a sample or literature on bottle feeding.
I have always really wanted to breast feed, however, this made me angry, what happened to freedom of choice? What if I have problems feeding and have to bottle feed? What about when I return to work, surely they should be giving information about sterilising and making up feeds for when the baby's older.
If they have to set challanges/targets on such things, surely they could still give out the packs, but just remove the information they don't want us to have. I'm missing out on all those other freebies!!
Hope you are all keeping well, take care0 -

You can join Bounty online and i think they send out a voucher or email one to you for you to collect one of the packs. HTH

I have registered now, thanks :j I just thought that the first pack was supposed to be given out at your first appointment so mine is well overdue. I just can't miss a freebie :rolleyes:0 -
You didn't miss much in the pack they give you just the usual leaflets etc but you should be able to get the first freebie pack from the site. most of the freebies were repeated in each pack.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
