GISI, we just put fergie on his changing mat in the room with us while we have a shower, he's always been fine, seems to really like the noise. The steam is really good for any little colds they have too. He's also happy there while I bath, with the occasional song now he's a bit older

We like the bigger bottles here too (260ml) but had 3 smaller ones cos we set up a little feeding station next door to our bedroom with a mini fridge with 3 bottles in and a warmer next to it, and a rocking chair, so no-one had to go downstairs, boil kettle... blah blah blah.... We also have an upstairs and a downstairs changing station too! Are we lazy?:rotfl:
Congratulations Fitzio :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
i shower while Jack sleeps after his morning feed - he goes in his moses basket which I pop on the landing outisde bathroom with the door open.
I have 5 150ml TT CTN (got 3 of them free with steriliser & breast pump and picked up 2 brand new at car boot for £1) - I do faff about with kettle though because I've not got a warmer yet! Althou OH does have a mini fridge but I worried it wouldn't be cold enough! It's a Chilli Egg - usually use it for beer!
I need to get a nursing chair - at present, I get up, go downstairs, boil kettle, get bottle from fridge, go back upstairs, warm bottle, get into spare bed, feed Jack, wind him, get him off to sleep and then go back to bed!
Doing that twice in the night is a nightmare!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

just checked latest EDD list - I am at the top of the birth list and Jack's not even 3 weeks old!
can I request that Jack and I get at least one month on that list before we get removed?! There are so many September babies that I'm worried we'll be removed before he gets to 3 weeks esp as we still haven't heard from ML and Harley, CSH and Squishy are due like now!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Glam, I'm not sure about that fridge, i'VE NOT HEARD OF IT, BUT OURS FROM ARGOS SAID THAT IT CHILLED TO 18 DEGREES BELOW ROOM TEMP. wE KNEW THE FORMULA NEEDED TO BE KEPT AT 4 DEGREES, SO JUST MADE SURE THE ROOM WAS NO WARMER THAN 22 (oops just realised caps are on but can't be faffed to retype!) degrees which it never is at night in our house!

I hope Nicki is still around, or logs back in - just wanted to wish her all the best xx
Am feeling sore round bottom of bump now, and upper legs - am consoling myself with icecream
Was having a lie down earlier, when the phone rang: rolled myself up and got downstairs within about 20 seconds, almost forgetting I was pregnant and really shouldn't have gotten up so quickly! Now worried that this could have hurt the baby or the placenta or something  This wouldn't have done anything, would it? I know, I sound ridiculousI swear, I need to have the baby so I can get rid of all the pregnancy paranoia (and probably gain a whole new set of paranoia)

I doubt you did anything too drastic just by getting up quickly. Congrats btw, last time I was able to get up quick was about 4 months ago, lol. If anything odd happens in the next few hours then ring the hospital, bleeding or odd pain or anything, but other than that don't worry cos that'll just make you think you're in pain when you're not.
I have had a couple of little tiny twinges this afternoon. Nothing worth getting excited about but a little pinching sensation at the bottom right of bump. Really hoping she is on the move as I'm getting fed up with all the phone calls and texts. Though I'd be even more fed up if no-one cared. No pleasing me is there?

I've not really been getting the 'anything yet?' phone calls as we seem to have reassured everyone that we will let them know as soon as anything happens - however, every time I call my mum or mil I do admit I start the conversation with 'hi its me and I'm not in labour' :rotfl: Like you said though harley, probably would be upset if they didn't check in with me0

God, no sooner had I posted than the doorbell went... a neighbour wanting to know if there was any news? Honestly wouldn't they have noticed if I'd brought a baby home? Is it just that I'm getting impatient to meet her making me so grouchy? I'm definitely feeling the pressure with all these phone calls and visits and stuff. Is it worth taking the batteries out of the doorbell and turning the phones off or would that just make everyone worry?
Squishy, I thought I had made it clear that I would let them all know when she had made her appearance but I guess they don't trust me, lol.
I want her to hurry up too

We had taken all the baby stuff out of the car as we needed to use the car boot over the weekend, and hubby was putting it all back into the car today while I was waiting with my maternity notes outside the front of the house - I told him that any neighbours watching probably now think I'm in labour :rotfl:0

Even though I felt sore at the tops of my legs and lower back I convinced myself I was just having BH:rotfl: dd3 proved that they weren't!
harley - unplug the phone - or is that me just being really anti-social?!
All the best for tomorrow nicki
*labour vibes* for all those that really want them!
EA I love hot baths tbh I didn't know that you weren't supposed to have themalthough I never tried to get out without DH being there (no handles on the side of the bath - so I needed help to get out!)
dd3 has finally been named :j Scarlet Zoe <insert difficult surname here> I have deceided that if we ever find ourselves expecting another I am going to change all our surnames by deed poll :rotfl:- not sure which part of that scenario would horrify mil the most:D
Hugs and best wishes to all x0
