Morning ladies, am still here and its my Due Date today :j
Have decided leakage yesterday wasn't waters as have had nothing since, fingers crossed he starts to make a punctual exit today but I doubt it!
Am soooo tired this morning, ended up sleeping on the couch, was so uncomfortable in bed, keep fidgeting, which in turn kept OH up so he was fidgeting, so I gave up and came downstairs
Hope we are all well today.

Morning ladies & bumps,
Good luck to Nicki today - hope everything goes great and can't wait to hear about your new baby
Lots of labour vibes to those who need them, happy due date CSH! Let's hope he decides to evict himself today
Glad your headache isn't with you this morning SomI know the feeling - have had a headache every day for the last month, think I am single handedly keeping Lloyds paracetemol sales afloat!!
Sorry I've been quiet for the last couple of days, just been run off my feet more than usual! Seem to have a million and one things to do at the moment, and to boot my darling cats have fleas...againWe've bought a new car (not sure if anyone will remember, I was rabbiting on about it last week!), a black 207 - way bigger than my Aygo and we got a good deal on it, so I'm pleased
We pick up next Tuesday but it means I am giving up my car and OH is giving up his, so we're a one car family til his lease car is delivered...any time between December and March  So I'm trying to get car requiring jobs done quick as OH will need the car to drive to work, so I'll be walking everywhere!!!
Woke up this morning with what appears to be a bump! OH noticed it when I first woke up, he had a poke around and commented on how the top of my belly button upwards was soft but below down to my hips was hard and you could feel the outline of a big oval shaped sac presumably?! Very weird moment of realisation!! Weirdly both my dad and OHs aunty when asking me the due date said 'bet it'll arrive on the 19th' - my dad says March & OHs aunt says February...but how weird that their reaction was so similar! Tempted to go see a medium and see if they say the sameOHs aunt is a midwife and said from the scan pics baby looks long - consultant said so too, think I am in for a whopper, hopefully won't compare with the 19lb aby :eek:

Gymfiend, long babies are ok, it's head circumference that I'd be scared about!;)
My scans with fergie all said, head normal sized, legs 120% longer than norm. I wasn't too worried!
Thanks to those who've added fergus on facebook, I just couldn't work out who you all were, but it's nice to join in!

Hehe, i have to stop swearing toand stop making weird growly noises at the kitten. I do it to freak him out, its so funny :rotfl:
OH tells me off for it cause he loves the kitten like its his baby lol. And the cat loves him back, he follows him around the house and everything! *jealous*
I got myself in a right panic yesterday, i got out on doppler and laid on the sofa and tried to find the heartbeat, couldn't find anything. So i stood up and tried again, still couldn't find anything. Earlier in the day i had a few cramps and i put 2+2 together and panicked. I did try coming on here, but my internet refused to connect
So i tried my midwife, and like always her phone was switched off
So i text my mum asking her to walk over to the maternity unit (she works at the hospital) and when she called to ask why, her phone battery died therefore making her panic lol.
When she finally got hold of me that night after she finished, i told her what was wrong and she said the baby is prob in the wrong position and if im really worried to call my midwife today:o:o:o

Hi Fitz- nice to see you visiting us!
Happy due date CSH. Hoping that your little one is nice and punctual for you.
EA- I wouldn't worry (easier said than done, I know). Even MWs have trouble finding hb sometimes so it's not surprising that an untrained person struggles. Most likely to be baby's position. I think this is why a lot of people aren't keen on home dopplers as they panic you.
I'm off to visit family for a few days so won't be around for a while. Fingers crossed for lots of babies when I get back x x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Thats what OH said, he said if i didn't have it i wouldn't worry. Im going to wait until my doc appointment on sat and ask him to have a listen
