Morning all,
PP hope you are OK and those pains go away, sending stay put vibes for you.
I'm peeved at OH this morning I have been waiting on Tesco vouchers coming through so i could get the kids costumes for school as after his exploits before causing us to have no income for a month things have been all over the place financially.
I just found the envelope with the Vouchers torn out and he had cans last night and when i asked how he managed to get them he smiled and said don't worry i didn't touch the bank, so i'm now left juggling payments again to buy them stuff.
I swear if he asks if i have any spare money this week i may hit him with his cans:mad:
To top it all he made optician appointments for the kids at the most expensive place in our area and when i said i can't afford their glasses he said the eye test is free whats the problem. Well honey the tests are free everywhere it's the charges they hit you with for the glasses. so guess who is left making excuses for why we wont be paying their inflated prices. honestly where is his common sense he must have recycled his with his empty cans.:rotfl:
Off to dads before i say something i regret to him.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

How's your DS?
Kindof your hospital may do a HB evening you could maybe go there, no obligation and just get some more info. Might persuade your OH that it's not as bad as he thinks?
Yeah I should look into it, I am leaning deffo towards a water birth, so I am hoping my hospital does them at least?
MGEB - Hmm I had never considered that actually lol but that is a far point to consider, I will prob go with the original one, MIL said she will order it for us tomorrow. Yeah thats why I liked the second one as well cos of the pram carrycot thing, BUT at the same time I think to myself is that alone worth an extra £80? which I dont think it is?
Aww we have a good mothercare at Team Valley apparantly but I've not been in to look.
Three2be - thank you very muchI will join that club now
Beenie - Congrats on getting a new carI hope this one is better for you xxx OH has a sore throat as well I think there is something going round
Lizziebell - congratulations and welcome to Lexi
Three2be - thats a class car story
Elastigirl - I would explain you are testing it if you feel silly, but I dont think you shoudl feel silly lol
SOM - Yeah I agree, I have only seen the Hauck in one shop so far and that the link I posted for the £247 one
MEGB - Yes you can return stuff to kiddiecare within 7 days but you do have to pay to have it returned
PP - Giving you stay put baby vibes
Three2be - I would be foaming as well, I would kill OH if he used vouchers on beer!! Especially as it was for kids costumes

Morning all,
Lots of easy labour vibes for Fidget
Congrats to Lizziebell, gorgeous nameGlad everything went well in the end, xx
Kindof I really like the look of the second pram - looks lovely, but I won't try and give any practical advice, because I don't know anything!!
Beenie hope the new car works out ok, I love Clio'sI don't 'get' cars, totally rely on dad & OH to pick them for me, I missed the MOT on my first car 2 years in a row  the first time, I didn't even realise cars needed MOT's!!!
Three I'd be mega !!!!ed off if OH had done that, there'd be some serious silent treatment in our house. I feel like a bit of a cow now, I've been in a total strop with OH since yesterday morning and hardly said 2 words to him, and he's not really done anything that badHis brother text him about skiing again, and he replied saying he wasn't going because it was unfair on me, then proceeded to tell me that his brother was annoyed that he wasn't going. Erm...right, am I supposed to give a sh*t? I hate being made to feel like the bad guy because he isn't going, I didn't make this baby on my own  I actually hate his family sometimes, they're eternally causing fuss and troubling me - fair enough my own might not be perfect but they never ever trouble OH.
Oh and to boot, we thought we'd picked a name, Grayson, he mentioned this to his family, we got told it was chavvy then got told it was too posh, generally they don't like it. Mightily !!!!ed off with this too, as they do this with every name, and I specifically told OH to just keep it to himself, but he couldn't and is now telling me he's going off it. He thinks it's ridiculous to keep names to ourselves as when the baby arrives people will react to his name so what difference does it make if we tell them now. I used SIL baby as an example, I wouldn't give my daughter her daughters name, but I've never said this to her, and really couldn't care less what she chooses to name her children.
Now I've said all that - does anyone think Gray/Grayson is chavvy?I actually prefer Gray but it doesn't fit with the middle name...
Seriously need to get out of my mood now I've let it all out :rotfl: Have been in a strop since yesterday, hence hardly any posting yesterday, was trying to use my frustration constructively and threw myself into doing some work!
Oooh & clever advertising from M&Ps getting me all excited for this 30% sale - only 10% off the furniture I want  Guess we'll hang on, see if it gets reduced after Christmas...does this usually happen?Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
