Cheeky bandstands!!! Flaming insurance company just charged me £25 admin fee for changing my car details over  AND if i wanted the cert sent special delivery to tax the car they wanted another fiver

The reason i'm so miffed is because the new car is in a CHEAPER insurance group but i don't get the difference back and still have to pay the fee  AND if i was to spit my dummy out and cancel and go elsewhere they'd charge me £30 for that!

    Skanks!!

gill_81 - I personally prefer the Mirage as I think it has more back support, the Mosaic is only anygood up to 13kg but have seen a few back with issues with the recline mechanisms. But redmel is right generally Graco do good pushchairs for the money you pay for them.

redmel - if your considering the P&T have you looked at the O'baby Sport XI? it has fab reviews and is much cheaper plus it comes with most accessories you need. I very nearly was gonna get it my self I like it so much.

Thanks for the advice and reccommendation for graco redmel. You're not butting in at all - I'll take advice from anyone who'll give it lol :) Thanks Som also, we crossed posts :) I'm glad the mirage is better, will save my £40 lol

That travelcot looks amazing! The only thing that worries me is that my living room is really quite small and I think it might be a bit big to sleep in through the day. What a dilemma lol

I'm so impatient about wanting to start buying things but think I'm going to make myself wait until after my 19 week scan (11th december!!!) With a bit of luck I might be able to get some bargains in the sales :)

  • Just wrote a long post and my stupid laptop decided that backspace meant going back a page and losing everything grrr. Will try to remember everything (but it was mainly me rambling)

Anyway, I have not got anything on today but feeling happy that house is tidy and everything is sorted. So not doing much won't get me down. DH wanted me to stay at home today after I had some twinges last night so doesn't want me to meet him for lunch (either that or he wants to go to the beer festival again.....)

I was wondering if the "twinges" I felt last night were the start of labour, but not sure if it is just wishul thinking?? Surely I would KNOW if I was in labour?? I really don't know. Does bubs still move inbetween contractions? There are so many things I really don't know and never thought to ask. Just thinking about it more now that EDD is looming. Have my next MW appointment Tues when I am 40+2.

I am going to copy GISI and make the most of my pregnant state. Today may be eat chocolate biscuits and crisps day today, then I may convince DH to have a take out tonight....Maybe curry ;) Today is my last full payday which is nice considering I haven't been at work. Next month we shall see how we cope on reduced money :(

  • Gah - don't know what's going on today with this site and my laptop - it won't show any posts after 10.08am and the site just shows me as being the only user! I really don't think I am!!! Anyway had to come down to the downstairs computer to check that I hadn't broken MSE, but no, it appears it's just my laptop...

  • It deleted my post earlier too, so who knows what's going on!

Karen- I wake up in the night with period type pains and think 'Is this it?!' then I fall asleep again, so it obviously wasn't!
