Fidget - just wanted to say you are an amazing lady. After 3 days of continous pelvic pain i am finished. i didnt realise the pain etc associated with spd / pgp was so severe and debilitating and i am not even at the stage of crutches yet. Sending you huge hugs and labour vibes

Huge labour vibes to jenny and nancmat, Lizziebell*80, Helen, Karen1907 and GISI

Well they think i have spd or pgp - had a 28 week appt today - for those that are worrying about antid - i didnt feel the needle and my arm is fine and i didnt feel unwell at all after.

the pelvic pain is so bad - either sitting, standing, lying down, on all fours etc and the killer is that it is 24 hr and paracetamol dosent have any effect at all. It is by far the worst pregnancy symptom (excluding probs like hypermesis / previa etc). I will get referred to physio at next appt - they dont think the back to back (ish) oblique fetal lie is helping at all. It will be a cesearan for me unless this baby turns - but there is plenty of time left for that.

MW did say though i should have been doing 1/2 hr a day on hands and knees since week 20. I thaught i had been very proactive doing hands and knees work bouncing on my ball etc - but not enough

Hugs to beenie, three and princess and anyone else that would like one

and sticky bean vibes to all that need them

Might be a bit quiet but will try to catch up

Ooo jenny easy labour vibes to you

    oooh good luck jenny.

glad you had a good day today Helen.

Bump Jr is either trying to stretch my stomach to get more room or is trying to come out of my side Alien style. Ouch

I'm still driving. Not finding it painful at all. Will carry on until labour starts - I have appointments that I need to get to next week but nothing for after due date.

Me too- bubs is wriggling around in there like crazy. I put mine down to the Dr having a good old rummage around to check baby's position earlier today?!

Glad your OH is gonna be home soon Jenny.

  • No you should have mgeb :) everyone is different, I might eat befre I go in and then be sick and think !!!!! I wish I had listned to mgeb lol

Lol, ah if you do you won't remember after, you'd be surprised how your body takes over, i hadn't eaten since the night before (just because my labour started in the morn before i had a chance to have brekkie) and didn't feel weak at all - i think it's natures way, it stores up some reserves for labour ;). Prob from all that eating we do in the run up :p.

So much happens that you forget about. It's only being on this thread has reminded me of so so much from last time - and i love it because up until yesterday i was feeling a bit miserable about being pregnant (just the symptoms getting me down and nobody seemed to understand how i felt) but all you lovely ladies have made me feel so much better now :D.

And i am so looking forward to feeling the crazy kicking and feeling like the baby is trying to get out, weird i know, lol! I'll prob change my mind when the time comes :rotfl:

Love the photos Beenie, I only really did two. Going to miss being able to sit my drinks on my belly! Contractions are currrently varying between 7 and 8 mins apart, should probably be moving around more but feeling a bit tired so sitting on the sofa now.
