Kindof - I've got that swing! Someone loaned me one with my DS and I ended up buying it off them because he loved it so much - it was great for putting him for 10 mins while I did stuff, how nice of that lady!Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

I know most of you won't recognise me but I'm going to ramble on anyway!
Had my 34 week MW appt this week and ended up going up to Day Care as baby had reduced movements and my bumps not grown in 3 weeks. Trace and scan was done and everything is fine, they think baby weighs about 5lb 7oz so a good weight. However no one can explain why I'm not growing, baby is now fully engaged and on the scan (and all the other ones I've had) it was showing by the measurements 35 weeks and a few days. They've not changed my due date but I'm trying not to worry that if I go overdue, I'll actually be more overdue than the max of 12 days.
Sorry for moaning but I'm so worried about whats happening with baby, babys a good size but why isn't my bump getting bigger? I was huge with my first baby. Could things be slowing down in there? The MW as the hospital suggested I could be in really slow labour as I've been having mild, regular pains since last Thursday but surely something would have happened in a week?
Anyway, sorry for moaning but just needed to chat XxxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

Kindof that is really nice of her. I dont have that one but I got a baby swing off ebay when i had DS and it was fantastic, and is thankfully still in the loft. Its one of the places to put the baby out the way of the other kids for a little while and DS loved it too. Baby bouncers are great but if you have toddlers they do like to ping them!! The kids are older this time so should do as they are told a bit - i will be using a playpen this time too just so baby isnt gonna get trampled on by 2 kids playing chase in the lounge!!!! I'll be using these only when the other kids are at home so mostly weekends and school holidays. The other thing we have that they both loved is a door bouncer picked up from a car boot sale for £3. We have got rid unfortunatley of all the baby toys though like little rattles and things so hopefully I'll be looking out for a few bits at the nearly new sale in april.
Kids arent too ill anymore but its the last day before hols, dd is still a bit snotty and coughing so if she isnt going to school i can not be bothered to take ds to preschool.
Going to look at a 3 bed house round the corner tomorrow, it sounds lovely, has dishwasher, ensuite shower room and there is a garage for OH but it'll be £175 more each month. Our rent is low though and hasnt gone up in over 4 years so its probably not a good comparison, it is a good price for a 3 bed round here and we are lacking space here.0 -

tracyg, hugs. Don't know any of the answers except that every pregnancy is different and you shouldn't go by your last one's size...the baby could be lying different or something which is why you don't look as 'big' as the 1st time around. As long as the docs/MWs are happy with its growth & movements I'm sure you'll be fine!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Hi ladies and bumps
Hope your all well. I have the day off, only wanted a half day but not allowed them, off to mums this weekend and want to pack and beat the traffic. Anyhoo, at least its not a mad dash and I can chill out a bit.
On the Non bio discussion, we bought some fairy liquid gel and conditioner at MrTs as it was on special and I had a MOC. Used it for the first time yesterday and it smells lush and washes really well, if it werent so expensive would love to continue using it. Maybe we'll get more as and when it goes on special, anyhoo for baby clothes I have all the freebies from the weekend so will use those. Fernlibee, love the tip about an extra rinse, we have one on our new machine so will give that a go if bubs ends up with sensitive skin like me (Altho I seem to have grown out of it as I have gotten older).
Can't remember who was talking about GP and midwife appointments, but I'm booked in alternate appointments with mine. I quite like my doc she has always been nice in the past so am hoping she wont be useless. And I know she had her second lil one just last year as she was on mat leave for a while, so hope she'll be a bit more sympathetic.
Finally bought a Greggs sausage roll on Monday, was ok but enjoyed the cheese and onion pasty more hehe.
Kindof - I love the cheeky monkey slogans, think its cos OH calls our 4 legged baby that, H loves bananas!
Fattyboo - sorry to hear about your fur baby, I hate thinking about mine getting ill. Get well vibes for her xx
Gymfiend - yeay for getting the other car sorted, I share with my OH and its a pain sometimes but we have gotten used to it.
Fishcake - Duh! your hospital must have been having a special on stupid the day of your scan, either that or maybe there deaf!
Always - deffinatley up for a drink next week, had to dash last night anyhoo as hadn't eaten and OH wanted to get home and pack, for our trip today, unlucky him still has to work.
Nanc and Jenny - Hope those babys make an appearance soon xx
Oh and labour vibes to all who need them ((huggles)).
Aww love all you guys talking about nurserys, hope we can move next year so baby gets her own room and not just an alcove like she has at the mo. Its cosey tho and have some cute Humphreys corner stickers to put up (we're renting too) Also put up some of those duzzit hooks at the weekend, the ones JML always advertise, there not suposed to leave marks! Have hung some baby bits from them and so far there holding.
Just watched Alphabeat on GMTV the bloke dancing was so cute hehe, put a smile on my face, and great song.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2
