Morning!

Hope Jennys ok, I've rushed home from the school run to see if there had been any updates!!

Labour vibes to Fidget and Nanc too

I'm starting to get anxious (sp?) about going over. I've got 5 days for him to make his move, no actually make that 4 because I don't want him to actually come on my due date (wednesday) as for him to share his birthday with the date my mum died would be abit wierd. Everyone seems convinced I'll have him this weekend,hope there right. I can't understand what my body is up to..bloody show last monday then nothing....10 days later..lost more yucky stuff..one day my bowels are behaving normal,the next I'm so constipated I'm sat on the loo in agony..to the next day having dia woowwoo!? Lots more braxton hicks all day yesterday,yesterday evening in particular, very period style achey then nothing! Grrrrr just get on with it!!! :rotfl:

I've got a stretch and sweep booked in for monday if I havent popped by then... has anyone had an experience of this? My friend said they insert their who hand and up to wrist or further, argggg. Also coming to my house to do it.

morning everyone, gorgeous and sunny here today so hope it is with you too! got woken up at 6am by dp going to work and again at half 8 by builders in flat below taking down scaffolding so having lie in now

I do hope jenny has her little pink bundle safely in her arms now - and that all her labour talk rubs off on nanc and helen (? lost the list in my preg brain!)

tracy - as you have been monitored and medical peoples are OK with everything, try and put your feet up and relax, am sure you will be fine - just as aless said.

can get in on the junk food talk today - a friend has a day off and we are off to ikea to look at beds for her (don't want to know what her and her bf's have done to the last one!!) and pick up some baby bits for me AND we can have ikea meatballs for lunch nom nom nom nom is it lunchtime yet?!

Nanc- stretch and sweep- basically it just means seperating sac from cervix by means of midwife sweeping a couple of gloved and lubed fingers around your cervix. It will feel uncomfy but shouldn't hurt.

hiya nanc,

I've got an appointment at the hospital on Monday. It just says antenatal in my notes and I'm assuming it's to discuss induction. Midwife said they offer a stretch and sweep (dontcha just love the sound of that?!) at 41 wks then said I don't need to see her again as I have the hosp app - so a bit in the dark about what is going to happen.

Lol I've started to feel like I'm imagining that I'm pregnant like when you have your first scan. I can see my bump but it feels like I've missed him coming somehow like missing a bus!

I too seem to have contractions in the evening then all gone by morning. I really wish I could go for a big long walk see if that kicks anything off but I can hardly even get up anymore!

Mega envious of jenny tho! Hope it's all done with for her now and shell soon be back on with pics of her little one soon

Helen - I do see what you mean about mums anniversary but i was a bit gutted I didn't go on Monday which was my dads birthday. I think I would see it as something good coming from the sadness and that they had somehow had more of a connection with LO iyswim x

dd has been good so far today but I can see the state of the house deteriorating before my very eyes! I did wake up and find her looking through my wardrobe though which has a fair few undisguised Christmas pressies in but she hasn't said what they are which I think she wouldn't have been able to help herself which I'm seeing as a sign that I caught her in time.

Always - (hope I got that right) get well and perk-up vibes to your doggy. Hope he improves soon x

Hello Everyone

I just thought I would pop on and add my due date into the list. I will try to keep up but if this thread moves anywhere near as fast as the parent thread then I know I have no chance:)

I turned 30 earlier this month and this will be number 4 for me!! I have 3 boys ages (very nearly) 9yrs. 7yrs, and 7mths I was a bit shocked at finding out I was pregnant although had always planned another baby, I was more thinking about ttc (late) next year...BUT we are both happy and I suppose it saves putting any baby stuff into storage:D

I haven't had any formal dates yet, so just add myself in on my own dates. Going from last period means I am 9wks(ish) but I will update the list accordingly once I have had a dating scan.
