Thanks everyone for the hugs and thoughts xxxx

Sorry trying to remember who said what but they have transferred me back to my midwife at docs but have given me an open appointment at the Day Care so I take myself up if I am worried about movement. Am pleased about that as I want a home birth so need to say under my normal midwife. I've only put 13lbs on since finding out I was pregnant so thinking by the time I've given birth, I'll prob weigh less than I did before (9 stone and 5'8" so not huge). Think I just prehaps need to start slowing down and eating more than I have been.

Kindof - one of my boobs leaks more than the other, its mainly if I squeeze it but sometimes I have a little patch inside my bra when I've taken it off. Think I started about 20 weeks with it.

Have cleaned through the house today so think nesting has started! Just got a couple of jobs while DS is at nursery this afternoon then will put my feet up. Thanks again ladies xxx

Oh wow, Mel, welcome back, congratulations!! It feels so wierd to be 5 days away from my EDD and seeing the likes of you and Weezl near the bottom of the list.. when I joined the thread you were both up near the top,if that makes sense?! Are you planning another home birth?

    Hi Helen

Wow only 5 days left, I bet you are getting excited now:)

I think we will be going for a home birth again, yes...how good of you to remember that from last time:D

    Mel x

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Hey all,
I`m currently waiting for a friend to meet me and take me out for a yummy lunch and catch up as a late birthday treat, but they keep texting me and moving it later and later and i`m getting really hungry, sicky hungry. I had a choccy bar to keep me going about half and hour ago but now i'm famished.

Just had some egg mayo sarnies and now Im seriously stuffed - eurgh :)
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
  • Ooo i know that feeling - I feel for you Fishcake Random!

I am starving but can't open the fridge as something smells of garlic in there and it keeps making me throw up :( I have to wait for OH to get it and take whatever it is out and give it a spritz. I hate feeling so useless - i can;t even cook for him at the mo!

I had a blueberry muffin and a cuppa a while ago to help tide me over but DD's 'bite' meant she came back and ate the lot while i wasn't paying attention - IT WAS THE LAST ONE, ARGGHHHHH!

Need to go food shopping but all the foods on display make me want to..._pale_ (sorry if TMI):o

I think i may be coming to the end of it though as i remember it gets worse just before it gets better - i'm at the worst so far so fingers crossed!:o

Sorry always and booboo i saw my mistake over who's dog was poorly shortly after I posted but couldn't change it as there was a knock at the door x
  • I keep losing my way in this thread :D Too too fast for my brain to comprehend!

I hope your doggy gets better - it is early days with the meds, try not to worry too much. I am the same though, i automatically think the worst if one of my pets gets ill - send myself ill with worry. It is the same for your kiddies too i'm afraid :( But it's only because you care so much!;) Bigs hugs to you! x

I have just realised i haven't fallen alseep during the day for about a week, YAY, so that is a good sign! I'm sure my dates are wrong with scan (they put me back 10days) coz i was on Ovu sticks and am pretty sure i have the dates down to a T, plus we weren't BD'ing that much :p so surprised we got there in the least BD'ing month . Would mean i am 10w4 therabouts, not 9w1 - never mind i'll stick to theirs but keep mine in mind!

Thats's a good swing Kindof, we had the Linkadoos one which is very similar just higher up - the music will drive you nuts after a while though :D But it is one of the better swings. I wish we never gave ours away now because it's def the one i'll be getting again :p

Yay, Kindof. That's not that far away! Bet you're so excited.

If anyone has printed the Huggies box voucher but not collected it yet, I got (another) one today and also used a £2 off Huggies newborn voucher too so got the whole lot for £1.76! Not sure where the £2 off voucher came from, probably some mailing or other but if anyone has both then Sainsburys do take them.

Also picked up a leaflet for Sainsburys new Mummy's club. You can sign up on the Sainsburys website. I did give a link but it wouldn't work so I've deleted it. Pregnant ladies get sent the Huggies box voucher, or Mummy's with little ones over 3 months get 1000 Nectar points.

I also got some antiseptic hand wipes for my hospital bag and some moist toilet tissue! How glamourous my shopping trolley must have appeared!
