Ahh how cute Karen, take it as a compliment, bump is a Jr you

Any thoughts on the name Jude anyone? are there any horrible rhymes that can be made up that I haven't thought of?!
I was 100% certain on a little girl name, but wavering on boys... Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
I love the name Jude!
What was your girl's name, out of interest?
I'm sooo happy- my OH has just been told he can have Christmas Day off. he was due to be working, and couln't get anyone to swap with him so he would have missed baby's first Christmas. However work decided they'd overspent on overtime so asked for people to take the day off and OH was first to say yes!!! Does mean he missed out on a day's double time, but he's working Boxing Day so that's double time anyway.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Gymfiend - I love Jude, did consider it myself but wouldn't go with our surname really if I'm honest (2 J's). You will always be able to come up with a potential teasing angle on a name (although nothing immediate comes to mind) but unless it's obvious I wouldn't worry too much. Kid's will pick on anything they can with a name I used to get called Lisa pizza :rotfl:which would have been quite bad if I'd had acne or something but as it stood it was pretty ridiculous and even I knew that it was just kids trying to rhyme it with something!0 -
I'm still struggling with a name and I'm overdue! I've never become dead set on any particular one and will have a few days convinced it will be one name only to change it a couple of days later. Boy's names are so hard!0

No, I've had my boy's name picked out for ages. Girls' names are much harder, Fidget!
Do you think you'll know the right name when you see your little one, or do you think you'll be someone who takes weeks to decide once baby is here?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

Ah great that OH has got Christmas day off Gisi, esp. with it being such a special one

Our girls name was Emmeline, I absolutely adore it & after mentioning to dad he told me it was his grandma's name (he's always referred to her as Emma, so I presumed that was her full name) - she was a v special lady to him as his parents were awful
, which just confirmed it for me. If we ever have another baby & a girl, we'd definitely use it.
Thanks ladies, it's a name I keep coming back to but OH isn't convinced. What've you got on your shortlist fidget?Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0
