BTW i have read somewhere that you can have a show but that doesn't mean labour is coming anytime soon. Apparently it can build back up or something. Not sure how true that is though!

Lol, i had my show in the loos at the cinema, i felt quite ill and had a bit of a dodgy tummy and was a little dizzy. My OH and my brother panicked coz i took a while but i didn't tell them as they would have said lets go home instead (my big bro was over and is VERY protective of me), I didn't want to ruin the movie - it was X-Men 3, lol :p! Then about 5am next morn i woke OH saying i'm having contractions, he grumbled no your not go back to sleep . So i tried, got up and got in the bath about an hour later, dillydallied until him and my bro woke up, got dressed, made them a cup of tea and then said right lets go to the hospital so i can finally have this baby :D My brother spat his tea everywhere!:rotfl:They were both shocked that they had no idea i was in labour.:p

And off we went! DD was born at 9.56pm by Em C-section ;)

elasti I think they dont like to do c-sections too early unless there is a reason for it. I had dd at 37 weeks she weighed 9lb 5 so they thought it best to get her out sooner. Ds was at 38 weeks and they were not so concerned with his weight he was 8lb 7. I had gestational diabetes so was monitored loads towards the end.

Im thinking of doing a mural to.

Well this is the idea i had for the nursery, 3 walls painted a nice crwamy colour and one wall in pink (not to pink but not to pale)

And on the pink wall im getting my stepdad to draw up an enchanted forest with some fairys, then we'll paint the forest and fairys in a greyish/shadowy colour. Therefore making the forest and fairys like a sillouete.

Then on the cream walls maybe having some nice pictures and i was going to make up some cushion letters to pin on the wall to :)

    That sounds lovely

Fishcake - I am pleased everything is ok apart from the NHS computer lol

Aww sorry you cut yourself Mrs I

See I feel tired, go to bed, manage to get to sleep really quickly then wke up around 1/2 am and can't go back to sleep. Just lay there trying not to disturb DH. I don't even get up to go to the toilet except maybe once but not every night. Just don't know. I end up dowloading podcast so I listen to them when I am lying awake.

Maybe you should try the yoga relaxation techniques. You just concentrate on each part of your body and relax it until you have done your whole body, not forgetting head and between eyes. Then if you're still not asleep just try to focus on breathing and each though that enters your head acknowledge it then put it to one side, eventually it gets easier to just think about your breathing and you should fall asleep. If I find I keep thinking about things I have to do I always find it best to write a list then I'm not trying to remember them.

I think I have had a few contractions :j Got contraction manager going but it's hard to know when the contraction has stopped. Last ones were 7 mins apart, lasting 40s, I hope OH gets home soon as I will want some tea before I have to go in! Not really painful yet  just a bit like a period pain that comes and goes.

  • Oooh - see now i know i have a very long way to go but i am kind of hoping for a girl, because we only have two bedrooms, one being ours and the other being DD's. She currently has a fairytale Disney pincess room which she absolutely loves, i'd hate to have to nuetalise it :(

OMG Asher D is gorgeous - sorry a clip was just on StudioFive. Not my usual 'type' but certainly i wouldn't mind seeing him pass his kitchen window nude, lol!

Is anyone watching? Am i the only one that thinks that Ian Wright is the only one talking sense?
