Im finish work now, but am going to see my dad
Woohoo, im going to do some mega hinting for him to pay for the 4d scan hehe.
Speak later! x0 -
Nope, they wouldn't even look at the sex because baby was to small.
Random question for you all; In my scan the baby had its head lower than its body and I know from 6 months many babys are in this posistion the whole time, so my question is how do they stop getting ill from all there blood being in their head? or do they actually pass out or something quite often?

Like I said you can completely ignore me as it isn't all babies obviously, I was only saying as I didn't know if you were planning on stocking up, and then it irritates the baby and you would have to get something else.
GISI- you would be amazed at what they are allowed to put in baby products of all kinds- don't just presume because something is for babies it is gentle. Some babies are just sensitive to more stuff than others.
i think if you are sensitive then the babies are more likely to be, I've never changed our washing powders and never had a problem. Also certain ethnic groups are more susceptible to ezcema, we have just been lucky I guess. I hope this baby is the same I think I'd struggle to not buy just whatever was on offer.0 -
Am feeling a bit sorry for myself today. Cut my thumb whilst preparing chicken for dinner about 30 minutes ago and it's still hurting _pale_. Couldn't find any plasters so wrapped a bit of kitchen towel around my thumb instead and secured it with a hair band so now everytime i look at my thumb that cheers me up a bit :rotfl::rotfl:
Anyhoo i'm sure i'll feel better when i'm eating my dinner (chicken, rice and salad - may even make a sauce to go with the chicken and rice).Married since 28/04/2007

I'm not sure what to do for tea. Went to butchers today and got veg box delivered so have loads to choose from, but have braised red cabbage in the fridge that needs eating too Might do pork chops with mash, red cabbage and other veg. But also got steak - but maybe that's a friday night thing..... hmm.
Anything from Helen today? She might be lurking (or I have just missed her).
I meant to say something else but have forgotten. Oh well, it'll come to me later I'm sure. Am trying to keep busy and not nap today to see if I can sleep better tonight. Not going to get too hopeful.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

packing is hard work, pleased that this time will be the last move for a while as it will be a family house (6 moves in as many years you think I'd be used to it!)
boring but moneysaving question, found in the bathroom 20 sanitary towels that must have been from when I had PID last year, they're not opened, do you think they'd be OK to use towards the tail end of bleeding all those weeks after giving birth (they are organic non perfumed non chlorine ones not the likes of always and all those sorts) or should I stick to maternity towels? Gosh there's another thought, when can I use tampons again???
off for a quick snooze now otherwise I'll never make it to aquanatal!0 -
lol, guess this is "what are we having for dinner" thread today

Was scheduled to do chicken fried rice, but have some shortcrust pastry that's about to go off so think I might make up some sort of improv chicken pot pie - tossing in chicken, potatos & carrots. Don't have any cream soup or thing to make a sauce with, so was thinking of doing a really thin, seasoned bechamel inside the pie crust? No idea if it will work
I don't remember seeing Helen either! Hope she's okay...prolly just resting!

:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
Always - prob worth keeping. from what i have heard (I am sure the ladies who have had babies will correct me if I am wrong) you bleed quite a lot after the birth. But I would think it must slow down a bit when you might be able to use them.
FR - sorry your NHS are so crap. At least you have had an extra viewing of your LO!
Any post 38 week people - are you having a decent night sleep at all? I am resigned that I won't be sleeping properly again but occasionally hopeful that there might be a possibility of sleeping through one night...... otherwise that's it until Jr is 18!!!Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
