I was wondering where Helen is too! Hopefully it's good news.
Karen I'm 38+1 and I get up about 4 times in the night to go to the toilet, then some nights I get back to sleep almost straight away and some nights I lie awake for ages. I don't think I can get comfortable enough to sleep right through.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Always - prob worth keeping. from what i have heard (I am sure the ladies who have had babies will correct me if I am wrong) you bleed quite a lot after the birth. But I would think it must slow down a bit when you might be able to use them.
FR - sorry your NHS are so crap. At least you have had an extra viewing of your LO!
Any post 38 week people - are you having a decent night sleep at all? I am resigned that I won't be sleeping properly again but occasionally hopeful that there might be a possibility of sleeping through one night...... otherwise that's it until Jr is 18!!!
I managed until last night to only get up once a night and otherwise sleep fine but I've always been quite good at getting off to sleep - if I find it hard at all I do yoga relaxation techniques. I often have a nap though the day as well if I'm tired.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

I've used always night pads after mine, once i come home from hospital 3 days later. I usually have very light periods so it was heavy for me but not excessive. Not sure of the difference after a natural birth rather than c- section but it will get lighter towards the end like a period does.
Karen I hope you get a decent nights sleep before jr is 18, mine slept through from 4 months ish but those first 3 months are the worst for lack of sleep. Pregnancy really does prepare you for it lol0 -
See I feel tired, go to bed, manage to get to sleep really quickly then wke up around 1/2 am and can't go back to sleep. Just lay there trying not to disturb DH. I don't even get up to go to the toilet except maybe once but not every night. Just don't know. I end up dowloading podcast so I listen to them when I am lying awake.Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Just checked on FB - Helen said she is at pizza hut celebrating friend's b'day today so that's probably why. Just hoping that when she wanted baby to stay in baby didn't decide to come out lol.
My MW said to me today that if I have a show then it could take another week before labour starts. Think Helen had her show longer than a week ago??? Oh well I am still waiting for something to happen. But as I have said previously then I shall be on here going "what shall I do???" he he.
Oh yes happy due date NancTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

I was going to just have soup for tea but am thinking it would be nice if dh picked something up on his way home but i prob wouldn't enjoy it. Also he hates it cos he can't have mcdonalds or kfc or pizza so it is not nice for him to have to get it for me when he can't even have it.
Mum fetched my ds for me but he has started with it now and is currently dosing on the sofa great half term we are going to have.
I so am in the club i have the best eviction plan. Section! But just how early will they do it that is the question? I am told they only do it a week early but my niece will be one that week so i will make sure it isn't on that day. I don't find out the date until the 11th of nov but i want to know now!
