Morning ladies
1st Labour vibes to those in need & stay put vibes as well
Welcome sweet & mgeb
Had our 32 weeks check last night at gp's for what it was worth, it was like we were wasting her time, she could not find bumpers heartbeat at 1st which got me so worried even though I had a big kick whilst wating, then because she took so long finding it when she did we only got to listen to it for what felt like two seconds. So glad i dont have to go back there for any more checks !!!!
Had a sweetheart on the bus last night coming home she had a window seat and the bus was packed, and I was standing so she said in a really loud voice" Thats alright I will give her my seat seeing as you look are being so rude" Must admit i went bright red but people said "oh sorry did not see you there". I dont want any special treatment but please dont pretended you have not seen me.

EA sorry they messed up your pizza, how very dare they mess with a pregnant lady! I was starving by bedtime last night, having had my breakfast/lunch/dinner hybrid at half 4, ended up getting toast at about 11 before bed then wanting to puke til about 2 with heartburn, yuck. Used my hours of feeling sick wisely though, browsing eBay & marking lots of bits to buy for the little fella :rotfl: In fact, most of the night was spent like that, think if I hadn't bought OH some new Xbox football game he'd have gone spare listening to me!!
I browsed ebay last night to, i have loads on watch now. Including a pram that is being sold by the police! It only £1 at the moment collection only
I will prob get heartburn today while im at work cause my gaviscon and heartburn tabs are at home

Morning Beenie! I can't wait for my LO to get hiccups! Not felt that yet but think it will be cute!
GISI I'm jealous of your Ikea trip - I could so eat some meatballs right now!!
I wash all our stuff in non-bio anyway cos I react to bio, however if I remember rightly I'll still have to wash baby stuff separately as you shouldn't use fabric softener on their clothes, is that right?0 -
really? I bought asda baby soft condition and preusmed I could use that? Ive aslready washed baby clothes in itDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

It is cute but can be nauseating at the same time depending on where baby is laid hehe.
I switched totally to non bio when i had DS and for the first few weeks used the comfort pure fabric conditioner, but ended up using the normal conditioner after a while cos i usually ge whatever's on offer.
Then again, my DS has eczema so i'll refrain from giving skincare advice :eek:0 -
I get eczema too, using bio can make it come up. It's horrible. I'm really hoping I don't pass it on to my LO0

Argh no way SJ - I'm stuck at Jimmy's but I asked the midwife about waterbirth and she said it was available at Jimmy's
Will clarify with her at my next appointment, that was the only thing that pacified me into living with going to St James's, I've asked them a million times to switch me to the LGI to no avail
Glad it wasn't Jeremy Kyle like, must be because only the posh ladies homebirthI'll have all the Jeremy Kyle lot in with me in the labour ward :rotfl:

This is just my OPINION, but I'm not going to bother with non-bio. For one, the UK is one of the few countries in the world that sells non-bio detergent, which just goes to show you it's something that manufacturers are telling us we "need" when billions of people (including millions in industrialised, first-world nations) are doing fine without it. This might be because I'm American and therefore didn't grow up with the advertising/marketing around non-bio so I'm less willing to believe in it.
But I have heard fabric conditioner is a no-no...we don't use it anyway, as a cup o' vinegar actually works much nicer (and doesn't leave residue!) and is far cheaper. Deffo no fab con on cloth nappies, as it affects their absorbancy.
lou - you've just confirmed my fear...I've also got a GP appt for my 32 week and I really want to know what position the baby is in but fear that a GP won't be able to find it at all. Dunno why they make us go this late in pregnancy when it's more important to have people who know what they are doing!! I'd rather have gone much earlier at like 20-something when all they do is take your BP & pee.
