    Hiya all,

    just a real quickie

hope you are ok fishcake x

Happy due date jenny, sorry you're having an off day. Same here, nothing started for me yet but the amount of random pains and tightenings I've been having today is really getting me down. Hormones crazy to. Went to parents evening forr dd and kept feeling like I would cry.

Labour vibes to all who want them.

Sorry not caught up properly but just feel too rubbish today.

    Hugs to everyone x

EA - are you stalking Kindof? LOL only joking. I really wanna buy loads of cute clothes too, but am trying to hold back as I have lil storage space anyhoo.

Kindof - Congrats on Elliot bump :D

Jenny - Happy Due Date xxx You still planning on being at aquanatel tomorrow?

Made yummy spag type carbonara type affair for dinner while OH had fish fingers and chips lol. Last day at work tommorow then 3 day wekend at mums, and I get to see my Bro, SIL and nephew for the first time in nearly 2 years woohoo. Actually having a family meet in Weatherspoons (tres chic) some of my cusins and aunts and uncles are coming too, should be fab as havent seen them in yonks.

Not sure about aqua, I found it quite hard work last week and not to sure about driving myself there as well in case something starts! Might just go on a walk instead.

Wellcome to the newbies, I'm glad I'm nearing the end of pregnancy now but it has been quite a journey and one I plan to repeat one day! Just hope the final bit goes ok before the really hard work starts!

I've had random crying moments then happy a few minutes later, seems like everything effects me more than it should. Every random twinge or tightening I'm like 'is this it' but knowing it isn't. I feel like it will never start but just spoken to my sister and she said she was the same, felt nothing would happen, then at 11pm on her due date her contractions started. Nearly 11 now but still nothing yet... bit of a rollercoaster wanting things to start but then thinking will I be able to cope, will I be a good mother? Bit late now I know!

    Morning everyone

    congrats to the newbies.

Its so funny how when you are pregnant you notice other pregnant people alot more. We had loads come into work last night. The regular pharmacist was in too and she is pregnant as well so we spent most the evening talking about food.

I always bought my kids clothes in sales seasons in advance and never had a problem with it- its alot cheaper if you can but I was just lucky i suppose.

    Oh Jenny, hugs for you!

For what it's worth, my theory is that those who worry about being a good mum will be one, because it shows you care about getting it right for your baby. Your heart is in the right place about parenting, clearly, and I really believe you will do a grand job :)

Also, there is loads of help and support out there to be a good mum, remember you're not alone! The parent club thread will help you, I promise! I'm always asking my dumb questions and getting loads of help:

Example: as a sleep deprived 10 day old new mum I made an ingenious attatching device from Fergus' sleeping bag to his dummy with elastic and velcro. A couple of the mums gently let me know it was a great gadget, but perhaps to not use it at night in case the elastic tangled round fergie's neck :rotfl:

I'm sure you've got loads more common sense than me, but it's just an example of how everyone can get the support they need to be great at parenting.

And I really believe you will.

    xxx
