morning fellow rounding ladies! well, 34 weeks for me today and I am definitely rounder, midwife appointment on Tuesday and she seems to think I've caught up a bit so hoping Monday's scan shows the same and the words "early delivery" don't cross the consultants lips again - even so, am aiming to pack my hospital bag this weekend. DP can't for love nor money get time off as scan at 2pm so am probably taking MIL, bit worried about her seeing my enourmous belly tho! Also worried about not being able to not tell my mum that MIL may be there but not a lot I can do about that as mum is 1,000's miles away.

jopsey - will be thinking of you and your amnio on Monday, hope it all goes well.

jenny, fidget and nanc - BIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG labour vibes to you all x

right, lazy bum always, get out yer pit, tis flat packing time, I'd rather be surrounded by boxes for 2 weeks than worrying about leaving it all for DP to do if our little man needs to make an early appearance.

Morning!! :D:D:D (long post alert) :p

I am so tired, i couldn't sleep last night as it was sooo hot and i was up all night drinking water i had never had water in my life before lol.

We got dominos last night, not happy as the 50% offer doesn't kick in until next monday lol. So i spent an hour looking on here for voucher codes. Finally found a 25% off one and they dont have my address on there system and you cant put it in manually.

So i called and some woman who didn't speak much english couldn't understand my query.

I asked if i could put the pharmacy below us as the address and type a note saying we're the flat above.

She didn't understand and put me on hold to find someone who could say yes thats fine lol.

Then the website wouldn't let me put the order through as my credit card isn't registered at the pharmacy. Grrr lol.

So i got so wound up after trying to do this for and hour and a half i sat there sobbing saying i hated the house lol.
OH come and gave me a hug and then we called the order through, it was £28 and they got my pizza wrong. But i didn't care i was starving lol.

Lol i just asked this question to some guys at work, i said
"if you give birth on the way to hospital in a car and then carry onto hospital with the baby in your arms, would you get pulled over for not having the baby in a carseat?"

And they were staying stuff like "well is it you driving the car, cuase possibly?"

Then OH said "well you cant drive so they would prob pull you over for not having a lisence" lol. :rotfl:

Congrats to the newbies! And labour vibes to those in need

ETA: Also i have some premature clothes (given to us) some newborn and some 0-3. So i have to sort through to find what is what :)

Weezl, not sure if you're still around but I've read in various places that cloth nappies are much bulkier than disposables and therefore vest extenders are needed. Is this true - should I get some? Ta!

I swore i asked for the dominator and didn't get it. My pizza was meant to be a create your own with peppers, pepperoni and bacon, and all i got was pepperoni, even though he confirmed it back to me.

We're not getting it again, unless i can order in store lol.

Had to run for the bus today (it drove past anyway!) and now my pelvis and tailbone really hurt :(

And it hurt when i had to lift up my leg to retie my shoelace, should i mention this to MW on friday? (if she comes :p)

    Morning ladies,

    Welcome newbies

GISI - enjoy Ikea, make sure you get a hotdog on the way out :D

Jenny hope you're feeling better today, xx I'm sure you'll be a wonderful mum, for one, because it's something you worry about, a sign of a good mum already :o

Jopsey hope you're ok hun, not a lot to add really other than to try and think of the non risk as 44 in 45, sounds nicer than a risk of 1 in 45 :)

ooh Merfe, I hadn't factored in washing in my buying thoughts - we do our washing at the weekend...but baby washing goes in seperately with non-bio (right?!), so would try and wait for a full load, which means not washing v often? Just seen Kindof said the same thing! Means more baby shopping for me, had figured I wouldn't need more than a 7 pack of vests for each stage as I'd wash...but perhaps not :D

Ahh Gisi cute story about your grandparents :D I love seeing sweet old couples & OH always say we wish we could pick a couple to share (both don't have any :(), hope one day I spot your grandparents & can ask them, they sound ace!

EA sorry they messed up your pizza, how very dare they mess with a pregnant lady! I was starving by bedtime last night, having had my breakfast/lunch/dinner hybrid at half 4, ended up getting toast at about 11 before bed then wanting to puke til about 2 with heartburn, yuck. Used my hours of feeling sick wisely though, browsing eBay & marking lots of bits to buy for the little fella :rotfl: In fact, most of the night was spent like that, think if I hadn't bought OH some new Xbox football game he'd have gone spare listening to me!!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

I have to sit down to put my shoes and socks on now, doesn't hurt, just my bump gets in the way and I feel as though I'm going to fall over!!

I just had porridge with golden syrup and sliced bananas. Mmmmm.

Gymfriend, waterbirth is first Weds of every month, and I think it's at the LGI as that's where the pools are. There aren't any at Jimmys so if you are wanting a waterbirth you will have to change your booking to LGI!

I'm going to go to one of the sessions as I'm seriously considering getting a pool but feel like I don't know much about it really!

Don't really feel like I learnt anything last night, most of what was said I had already thought and read on homebirth.org.uk. Still glad I went though as the MW was pro-homebirth so that's reassuring. Wasn't at all like Jeremy Kyle either. I was one of the youngest mothers there!
