Nicki - I couldn't agree more with you about the over eating / weight gain, it's just commonsense and it always amazes me how people can't equate, medical conditions notwithstanding, overeating with being overweight. Gosh that makes me sound like some fascist weight police person but I'm not, I was a good stone or so overweight before pregnancy and I know why.

Have just been out to up my weightgain - work is boring me senseless and couldn't face eating lunch at my desk so went to mcd's instead with mother & baby magazine as there were a tonne of catalogues with it, including an argos one with money off vouchers in it. Will try and post link to post in discounts board, bear with me....

....pah just realised they are in store only vouchers. I won't be using them having seen what they are but if anyone would like one of them PM me and I'll stick them in the post to you:

£10 off travel systems costing £140 or more
£10 off any mattress when you buy it with any cot / cot bed
£5 off when you spend £25 or more on Lindam products
£5 offf when you buy anything from Fisher Price pink petals range
£5 off when you spend £40 or more on any car seat
£5 off when you spend £40 or more on any bouncer.

Am I allowed to post this here????? Massive apologies if not!

Ah, didn't bother getting the next one after the booking in appointment as recycled most of that and neither the local asda or boots had the next pack in stock anyway and it looked like it'd be full of samples of stuff I'd not planning on using like baby wipes and branded things, that's probably why I'd not seen the argos booklet before!
  • Rant Rant Rant. I was rather un MSE and bought spray on hair remover since the bending part for the cream is a pain and my bathroom is cold. well it's as carp as the cream. anyone any recomendations for a cream etc cant shave as it irritates the life out of my skin so it needs to be a hair remover.

  • I wasn't going to get on the weight debate as it drives me insane why woman think they need to spring back into shape so quick. But after i had my ds I was due to be a bridesmaid in 3 months  I did loose quite a bit of weight due to breast feeding but i became very ill a few weeks after the birth and put it all back on again as i was almost bed or sofa ridden. I was still over weight but didn't look pg for the wedding. The dress fit which was the main thing and i only just started to feel normal again so i was more happy and concern with that than my weight. It really doesn't matter as long as you and baby are healthy.

    afternoon ladies and bumps,
    labour vibes squishy and harley,

I cant really coment on the weight talk , been a long time since havong ,my last 3 children , and this one i had put on nearly a stone within first 17weeks and gone froma size 8 - 12 , but since my operation last week have lost half a stone and look like a 10 again , i just eat what i want when i want , and will just tone up after having little one.
Just had call off my occupatinal health from work today , and told her what had happened i last 10 days, and she has told me , she can see no way of me returning back to work till after baby now, unless they can find me alternative work at home , apparantly in the HSE rules it states if they don't they will have to suspend full pay until maternity leave starts.
Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec
