Well popped into Sainsburys to get nappies, but there were only a coulple of packs left so didnt get all the ones we wanted. Then popped to Staines for a wander about. Picked up some cute short story books to read to bubs and went via H&B and got a couple of boxes of RLT to put away for after xmas. Saw lots of cute clothes but resisted. Oh and got our first official baby pressie today, from a neighbour who is moving away on wednesday, a cute sleep suit, t shirt and pair of booties :D

Ali, just wanted to say really of thinking of you, I admire your approach to it and wish you and your OH the best.

I seem to have a pretty miracleous (sp? nah your know what I mean) improvement on the flu front the last 36 hours. I know people are church have been praying for me, I'm sure it's helped! Fever has gone and appitite has improved so hopefully in a day or two I will be fighting fit!

I know it's silly but a bit worried as my sickness seems to have stopped.... I'm seeing MW next thurs but so long away:o. Hopefully it's fine.

I'm going to have major catch up reading all the posts now, lots to get through!

  • Hi ladies! Should be able to keep up a little better now seeing as my hunch turned to reality and my employment contract was terminated last week  Conveniently just before my 6 months probation but unfortunately for them they got their dates a little bit wrong and they're still going to have to pay my SMP :p

Hugs to Ali, hope you'll be back here soon. I had a mc at 5 and a half weeks back in April, caught again straight away and am now 25 weeks. Everything happens for a reason, although it doesn't always feel like it's for the best I tend to put my trust in the fate fairy and that makes me feel better :o

Glad your scan went well EA, isn't it amazing! And congrats on team pink :D

Congrats on the recent births, I just love looking at the pics, labour vibes to those in need and for everyone that's had a crp day, it's a whole new one tomorrow, here's hoping it's better :D

    It is quiet tonight!

jha- I totally empathise with the foof type pains. I suffered from them at about your stage, and being on my feet and walking around seemed to make it worse. My baby is (or was at last MW apt) back to back so maybe there is a link there?.

jha - have you tried doing some positions designed to help baby into more comfortable position? Try being on your hands and knees for a little while, or try an inversion where you have your knees on the edge of the couch & hands on the floor (almost handstand)...might help relieve some of the pressure/pain.

Thank you gisi and aless:D i have tried all but the inversion move and no joy - thaught i had better try as i am always telling others on the thread to walk up and down the stairs / go on hands and knees - lol:o . i am not sure what is causing the pressure if baby is lying horizontally legs on my left and arms on my right - knee? but at least i am not worrying so thanks and i will ask mw tomorrow.
