Just a quick question (sorry if i'm being really dozy here lol) -

When sorting out the baby clothes into ages, do you keep 'newborn' separate from 0-3 or are they all the same and kept together?! I've not looked at the tags properly to see what weight 0-3 goes to (if it even says).

Just a random thought, i don't have that many to sort yet :rotfl:

I've kept them separate as the newborn ones seem quite a bit smaller.

Jopsey- no personal experience, I'm afraid as we didn't have the tests. Sending big hugs your way though x x

I'd keep em seperate Beenie, cos fergie was 4-5 weeks before he grew out of newborn and into 0-3 :)

Hi jopsey, no advice sorry but sending hugs your way.

Beenie Ive kept them seperate. Has anyone else noticed the difference in newborn sizes from different shops is massive? Some goes upto 7.5lb then anything upto 11lb

Lavender oil should be avoided in the first trimester from what I remember, cant remember where I read it now though sorry.

Lou hope your feeling better since your to do with the neighbour. Where do people get off shouting at pregnant ladies

Thanks to everyone who gave advice re UTI's. Will stop drinking blackcurrant squash now and get some cranberry juice instead.

Am a bit annoyed because the doctor at first prescribed me an antibiotic which is unsafe to take during pregnancy  by the pharmacist (thank god i got him to check). Nurse at the surgery said i got the wrong type of antibiotic because i didn't tell the doctor i was pregnant. That really annoyed me because i registered my pregnancy with that same surgery 2 weeks ago (it wouldn't of killed her to check the computer when writing out my prescription where she would've seen that i'm pregnant) and secondly i was refered to give an urine sample to the doctor via my NHS walk-in centre and was never given a chance to see a doctor when i handed in said urine sample.

Thankfully i was able to go back to the doctors and get a diferent type of antibiotic (amoxicillin) which i was told is safe to take during pregnancy.

I could swear that if it wasn't for the fact that my doctors surgery has a very good midwife then i would've left said doctors by now as it's the worst surgery i've been registered with (rude receptionists, rushed doctors appointments never lasting more that 2 minutes, insensitive doctors ...) .

Anyhoo i'm done with my rant now ... just about

  • Hi everyone,
Ali - I'm so sorry to read your news, I hope you're ok.
Gemma - me too! I had a really rubbish day, topped off by nearly fainting this afternoon in a too hot room - everything went black, it was horrible, not something I've had experience with before. Have I mentioned, I really don't like my job?! I hope yours is just a bad day and it'll get better?
    Congrats Madwoman.
Well done to all those starting maternity leave! Hope you've got some nice things to do with your time?
EA - your pics are lovely.
Lou - Sorry you're having probs with your neighbours, some people can be really unpleasent.
Sorry if I've missed anything - hugs to anyone who needs them, likewise lots of labour vibes to those in need!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Arghhhhh im so fed up :(

Feeling really crappy tonight too :( Cant stop being sick cant stay off the toilet, spd is really playing up, pounding headache and i keep going dizzy :(

Its official i hate polyhydramniosis it sucks!! :(

I wish i could just enjoy being pregnant its not to much to ask really is it???

The landlord came round this morning and he was really off with me again and when he left i sat here and cried :(

He phoned me up about 10minutes later and snapped at me again telling me that there was nothing wrong with the house and i cried more :(

He then rang me about an hour later and asked me to go over to the new house, so i went over there and it actually smelt clean when i walked in

There was only him and his wife there (was the first time i had met his wife) and she pulled me to one side and said to just ignore him as he had the ump and shouldnt have been taking it out on me and she didnt blame me there is no way she would have moved into it with it in that state. :o

He then apologised to me and i stayed for a bit and helped them to clean some of it up. It took him 2 car loads full of stuff to get rid of all the rubbish

Eventually he told me what it was that was wrong with him, his son had lent some of his friends some money one of which was in the region of £1700  he was then having trouble getting the money back so he asked his dad to help him, 2 of them gave it straight back with no arguments the third was a girl and she told her father that he had given it to her in return for sexual favours  apparently the father threatened to go to the police over it and it had really upset my LL trying to get it all sorted out which i cant say i blame him really doesnt give him the right to take it out on me though :(

Congrats to all those that need it, hugs to those that feel crappy, and labour vibes to those who want it when i dont feel so bad then i will come back and attempt to read everything properly but for now i really need to go and be sick again :(
