Aless0- yeah maybe thats it, although I do always sleep on my side anyway, as can't sleep on my front due to boobs, and can't sleep on my back due to boobs feel like they are squishing me lol!! I had it with DD and I put it down to loosened muscles and ligaments, as it is sort of a muscular ache, but surely so early in, I wouldn't have had any muscle loosening? Not sure, everything seems to happen quicker with the second one! ha ha!
re-UTI, apparently lot's of water and a bit of cranberry are good, but blackcurrent or anything containing blackcurrent can irritate it, and cause infections. Also I think lavender in your bath is good as it is anti bacterial- so is t-tree but doesn't smell as nice!0 -
maybe when ppl buy u 0-3 month clothes , all tags will be on and you beable to exchange for bigger sizes without upsetting friends / family
Thats what I did for DD and no-one even noticed that they were in a different size, just were pleased to see baby in it. Also meant I had some nice new bit's in each size up to 9-12, as most of her clothes were second hand. :money:0 -
Evening ladies
Sat here shaking and wanting a fag for the 1st time in months since i found out i was pregnant. Just had a row with our neighbours. I have lived here for 9 years and never had a row, but we have 6 car parking spaces and when they have vistors which they have about five of per day, they all take up the car parking spaces outside so no one that lives here can park there. Now bearing in mind theres only 6 flats and out of those 6 flats two of us are pregnant and one lady has just had a baby. Also theres a lady on the ground floor with a disabled son, so our parking spaces are needed. However this guy thought it was ok to start shouting at me in the face when i asked him nicely to move at least one of the cars. He also accused me and oh of being racist which made me so mad. There was no racist talk what so ever and the other neighbours have all said they heard no such thing so will be willing to stand up and say this but why do people have to be so rude. So wound up . sorry for the rant but feel better writing things down.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
Yay EA- Good to see another team pink!
Ali- I'm so sorry, glad you've got such a positive outlook, hopefully we'll see you again soon
Congrats Madwoman! Love the name Jacob too.
Hope everyone else is OK, had a crappy day today at work and cried when I got in, seriously thinking about not going back to work after ML, or looking for another job. Just feel like MUG is written on my forehead as I get dumped on all the time, haven't even done what I'm paid for since July as been too busy clearing up other peoples mess! grrrr.

MrsI- I had quite a stubborn UTI early on, my GP wasn't prescribing strong enough Antibiotics to cure it, apparently you need double strength when u r pregnant. Beat the UTI but got nasty thrush cos all of the bacteria was killed! Not pleasant, but easily sorted.
I think UTIs are nowt to worry about, but if you get 3 you have to stay on antibiotics the whole time and then have a scan 4-6 weeks after birth to check everything is OK.
Think this is quite rare though and thankfully I've been OK since getting proper antibiotics (3rd time lucky!)Boots: £107.xx on AC :j

Hi not a regular poster but have been a lurker for a while ,
I have had the dreaded phone call from midwife from midwife today to say my quad test results are high risk and to come in tommorrow to discuss my options ,has this happened to anybody else ?
Keep going from fine to weepy and am a bit shocked0 -
Just a quick question (sorry if i'm being really dozy here lol) -
When sorting out the baby clothes into ages, do you keep 'newborn' separate from 0-3 or are they all the same and kept together?! I've not looked at the tags properly to see what weight 0-3 goes to (if it even says).
Just a random thought, i don't have that many to sort yet :rotfl:0
