cheapskate - is it three days to go untill your due date? Would you like some ***labour vibes***?

gill - i would be furious if i found out someone i had told something to in confidence had told another person at work too:mad:

glad you enjoyed your 2nd day of leave boo:D

Glad you enjoyed your hospital tour aless

Now 2 days  & yes, please, loads of labour vibes if you can spare 'em! :D
Had 2 strong cups RLT yesterday, 1 so far today, & we're having curry for tea followed by fresh pineapple with pineapple yogurt, cup RLT for supper - is this overkill? :rotfl:
After 2 very stressful days (very long stories, not boring you all) today has been much calmer, but now had chance for thoughts of my dad to creep in, esp after someone (helen?) mentioned anniversary of losing her mum. Dad died just before last Christmas & this little bean will be the first one in the family to arrive since then - I think I actually was just pg when he was very ill & died, but all the stress caused it not to be. I'm sure all manner of things will be well (to misquote Burns!) but there will be a few weepy moments!
Got to make tea now, so pop back later.
Hugs, kisses, labour vibes...take your:D pick girls!

No backpain here Nanc - just have the odd twinges at the top of my legs which are really painful but soon go away - guess its Jr catching nerves or something.

Can I just say bl***dy BT - Someone phoned me (woke me up), then put me through to someone else who then said they couldn't help me and I got annoyed as I have been trying to sort a phone line out for my volunteer work and I said that BT have been carp so the person hung upon me!! Now feeling bad for the person who I am trying to geet the landline for, annoyed at myself for getting annoyed at BT and am now worried that I will never get this landline sorted and that I should pass it on to someone else??????????!!!!!!!!!

Nikkit - apart from the Xcursion, all the pushchairs you have chosen are made by the same company, so quality wise there isn't anything between them.

Hugs Helen, hope things start moving for you soon.

When my grandma got her cancer diagnosis the other week the first thing she, my mum and I all thought was that she might not be around for when baby is born. I know it's not the same as what some of you lovely ladies are going through, I can't imagine that, but I hope you're all ok anyway - have a dodgy hug! :grouphug:
ETA she was back at the specialist yesterday and they are starting chemo in a couple of weeks, they expect it to be every 3 weeks for 4-6 months but then she should be fine - yey!

I'm normally quite emotional but haven't really noticed it being too much worse since being pg - I did wonder whether my cry-reflex might go into overdrive but it's ok so far!!

Gymfriend - when are you getting married then?

My DH is out all night tonight so I'll be going to bed on my own again. He's out playing foortball now, will come home to eat then out to watch football at the pub with footie lads, then he is out later on in town as one of our mate's is putting on a new night somewhere so he's off there. Rubbish in on my own - hoe you ladies can keep me company!

Ooh nancmat that sounds a real bargain :)

My SIL has the Quinny, I think it's lovely but quite bouncy with all the suspension if you're short!? Also apparently as it switches from front to back facing it's got a bit of extra movement in the handles. Ok for most but put me off as my mum's a titch and will be using it a lot.

Cheapskate - labour vibes for you - I don't think the double dosage of pineapple for dessert sounds like overkill at all :rotfl:

Karen I'm with you on the annoyance of call centres - just spoken to Barclays who've blocked my credit card because of suspected fraud...that'd be the Tesco grocery shop then that someone's trying to rob me of!! Had to ring and confirm a million and one things in order to use it again, grr.

SJ I've not the foggiest when we'll get married! Though OH did just ring from Barcelona and say we should get married in Barcelona because it's lovely & we got engaged there, shall we go next summer with baby and do it - first time he's shown a remote interest in getting married since proposing :rotfl: Really difficult family on his side so I'm not pushing the subject, I want a small wedding, in an ideal world just the two of us as I don't want the expense of putting on a day neither of us would love, because we both like to shrink into the background together :o

p.s. you can join me in the lonely club tonight :D I'm about to hang the washing on the radiators, do some eBaying then make myself some tea and have a bath, whilst hanging around here all night!

So I actually saw a kick for the first time last night!! Felt a hard kick so looked down at my belly and pulled up my t shirt, sat watching and could see the kicks make my belly move! It was amazing!!
