Nice to hear from my due date buddies. Agreeing with everything your both saying! Everyone at work keeps saying, 'your still with us then,' will probably get annoying if I have to put up with that for another month!
About the navel pain, if I prod around my belly button I do get a bit of pain but I just assumed it's nothing to worry about as it's only when I prod.
Worrying about getting a nursing bra as I'm still an A cupand they generally start at B so haven't got one yet. Also trying not to worry about not having a pram yet - surely I don't really need one until Noogle is a few months!
Still can't decide on a name and OH has lost his list so he needs to do a new one.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

I need to pack my bags.. yes the constant questions at work are anoying... more so from customers then co-workers.. I just hide behind the desk and think F off...

Joint first on the list? When did that happen?
Hiya harley - at least I'm not the only person on the list so far for this month to not have gone early (though I bet saying that you'll go into labour today) :P0 -

DH thinks I have OCD most of the time, but that is just because he is a boy and doesn't notice things as much as I do.......
Can you come and do my floors too, previous people in the house had big dogs and the dining room floor is horrible and the thought of having to sand it and get dust everywhere is a total nightmare....did I mention I don't like mess :rolleyes:0 -
Nanc - maybe have a look in TKmaxx for a nice leather bag you could both use? They had some lovely 'normal' bags that would be suitable last time I was in and they werent that expensive considering it should last ages being leather.
Im ashamed to say Ive got 4 changing bags already BUT in my defence, I only bought one of them and that was with my boots points so technically free. I would have quite happily just had that one as its Tiny Tillia and Id been lusting after it for weeks then when boots reduced loads of baby stuff the other week I treated myself. One of the others is the free boots one and the other two my mum bought me from France. One of them is huge, I could get in it and the other ones very boyish (she bought it before we found out we're having a girl) Might keep the huge bag for if we stay over at anyones and if my sister doesnt want the other it can go on ebay or the car boot.
Ive always wondered why my friends daughters Lottie not LettieBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
I wish nesting would kick in here. I just cannot be bothered and bending down in such a struggle!
Got our bits in Ikea, including anoth sleeping bag for £10. Also popped to Asda and picked up a changing mat as the one we had was completely the wrong size for our changing table.
Nanc- I know what you mean about the foof pain- it is a really bizarre pain and not nice at all.
Jillie- can't wait to hear about the birth and bubs. I didn't realise you had a C-section in the end.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Well I started small (32B) and haven't changed much yet (34B as 32 was getting tight round my ribcage and also all of my bras were underwired with muchos padding so needed some more booby friendly ones!).
Looked at the nursing bras in M&S the other week and found that they do not do a 32B anymore, 32C was smallest so will have to see what happens in a few weeks - however lady there said as a general rule they would go down a chest size and up a cup size from what you are now. Also she said to come in one to 2 weeks before, so as long as the baby is on time or late then that is fine.
I did order 2 off the secretsales link from the beginning of the month for Hot Milk nursing bras, getting a 34B and a 32C, if they don't fit then they don't fit, but I read that if you get big initially they may settle down and get smaller again as feeding is established so might be ok.0 -
Currently on 36A but only because the strap sits on my bump a bit. Will wait another 2 weeks then and have another look

Glad to hear it's not just me with the funny belly-button the only thing is mine hurts when I sit up and feels like something's going to split:eek: If it doesn't ease off over today I might ring docs tomorrow.
That does seem silly that it's like you don't count in the manufacturers eyes with the nursing bras, what are you supposed to do not wear one? Surely with all the engorging and discomfort that can arise around that time you need to have something? Ability to breastfeed has nothing to do with size, I've always been a bit of a bravissimo-type girl (but wish I wasn't) and when I had DD it took me a whole episode of Eastenders to produce a couple of mls!
I had DD out in the pram within a week of having her. Are you going to get a sling or a carrier as it won't do for you to be stuck inside for months. I found that after being stuck to the couch for hours with DD and her refusal to go to sleep, the pram was a bit of a Godsend as it gave me a small amount of respite and space to clear my head. I don't think it's something you should worry too much about though, you will know when you feel you absolutely have to have one.0
