Conragtulatiions to Bear, JAM, Jillie and Fitzo!
Hugs and hello's to everyone else
HammyHunter, Firstly congratualtions on your bfp! I saw your question over on the parents thread (but tbh I struggle to keep up over there - and I thought you might be more likly to be over here!)
I managed to bf dd2 from one side for 11mths and 1 wk so it is possible! (I only stopped because she was a biter that would not learn...) The only thing I can suggest is that you read up on b/f and all the problems that you can get (i.e. cracked nipples etc doesn't just happen when it is your first) and then have a stock of items to aid recovery of that issue. For example the nipple cream in the purple box (I can't spell it - lanasoih?)
The reason I say to read up is that for example with all my little people I had problems getting them to take from one side (which is why with dd2 I gave up and just let her feed from her prefered side) not one midwife/HV suggested that I try a nipple sheild to help them latch on (very badly inverted nipple) With dd3 I asked and they finally conceded that it me using them wasn't really a problem (in comparison to the state I got myself into when I thought my milk had gone from the inverted side. If I hadn't spent hours googling the issue I would never have thought of trying them tbh...
three - glad you finally got your date :j well a good idea of... for anyone interested the council here give you 3 different types of totsbots and wraps to try out (just waiting for dd3 to put on a bit more weight before I give it a bash)
Weezl -wtg!! congrats!!
dd3 is doing really well putting on weight although she still has no namewell apart from twinkle... we have to register her on Wednesday though (lol because we have already had a 1 1/2 week extension :rotfl::o)
Better go get something to eat before she wakes for another feed0 -
Aless, I'm now 2nd. And since we are all fairly sure ML has had her baby that makes me 1st!!!!!
Still no sign of this baby shifting though. Moving around inside quite a bit but not anything that would get my hopes up.
Really need to shift this cold as it's making me feel really grotty. I'll pop out for a very small walk later, see if some fresh air helps a bit.
Well done Jillie, good to see you back on. Piccys and story please, try to encourage this baby out for me!!!

harley - sending you some stronggggg labour vibes. I didn't want to move ML to the Birth list since we don't know for certain either way, but I think we all know you're next!
Walking around and fresh air should deffo help the cold and maybe help evict baby? hehe
CB - glad to hear you're still well. Can't believe you haven't named her yet, LOL! I'm scared DH won't ever agree so we'll have the same problem hehe.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Oh no, definitely don't move ML. Then I really will be top. Thanks for vibes, everyone was so sure she would come early it's a bit of a shock to still be sitting here waiting.
I'm still struggling with names too so it's nice to know that you can get an extension if needed.

lol DH and I only really argue about one thing  the problem this time isn't that we are arguing about particular names - more that we don't really have the time to sit down and chat together about names (without being really tired as it is too late or one of the others needs help with something...) our surname doesn't help... DH's [STRIKE]excuse[/STRIKE] theory is that there are only going to be say 6 names that you really like - and we have used 4 already  although he keeps on coming out with names that I suggested for dd1/ds1/dd2 and at the time he was like "no way"where I didn't even think they were an option
We like Scarlett but I can't think of how to shorten it - lol the kids know you mean business when they get their full name :rotfl: plus there is the thing when you are somewhere and you need to call them all - although I am thinking of just using "tribe" as there cue to gather together :o gah don't get me wrong I hate the fact she doesn't have a name - DH joked about going to the registrars with a hat and some names...

Hi CB, nice to hear how you are getting on. Here is my fav baby name site, it tell you what people with that name think of it. http://babynamesworld.parentsconnect.com/suitability_of_Scarlett.html. Doesn't list any shortened version tho for Scarlett

Hi ladies,
Harley huge labour vibes your way! And feeling better from your cold vibes too.
CB - I know a Scarlett who gets shortened to Lottie, not much shorter but it really suits her.
Ive made myself a list of things to do today but really cant be bothered, my lazyitus from yesterday seems to have carried over and I keep sitting down thinking 'in 5 mins I'll do x,y,z' then its an hour later and Ive not moved! Might go and have a mad 5 mins on the kitchen while the kettle boils for my RLT.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
CB my DS is Cameron and i don't really like to shorten it to Cam so when he's in trouble he gets first name & surname0

CB charlotte is sometimes abbreviated to Lottie, so could she be Lettie? I think that's the derivation of it, and old lady names are 'in' at the mo!
