    helen labour vibes to you.

Always are you at work -- it can be easy to miss movements during the day if you are busy. I monitored movements a couple of times with dd and I basically did nothing except lie down and count how many i felt. There were plenty when I concentrated on it but during the day at work I'd been sure there were less. Hope you manage to find thenumber soon, can you call the maternity assessment unit they should still be able to advise you over the phone if you can not find your midwifes number.

congratulations mermaid, cant believe we are in the middle of june now! Its going quicker than I thought, still a week on friday till booking in time though. My OH doesnt go to any appointments except scans. I am gonna have to take dd and ds to my appointment because its at 4pm so they will have finished school but I doubt OH will be home. At first she was going to book the appointment for a sunday but I work so she changed the date. I didnt think they would do appointments on a sunday just goes to show midwifes work everyday of the week.

Evansangel my exs mum and dad were cousins, they were split up and i didnt find out till we went to visit his nan and his dad was there visiting his auntie!!! The funniest thing was they asked me not to mention it to his little brother because he didnt know! He was 15 - you dont need to be a genius to figure it out lol.

Well I'm wide awake today but I know that is short lived, working tonight so i'll be shattered again tomorrow. My back is killing today - I stupidly carried ds back to the car after dropping dd to school. He does make it hard to say no to but I know I cant keep picking him up. I'll take him in the pushchair when I go to pick dd up.

Ooh by the way I dragged myself to Peacocks on Sat as I had a huge panic that I had no clothes to leave hospital in as I kept taking them out the bag and wearing them lol! I got some mat/nursing tops for only £2 each they had £6 on tag. They are like black t shirts with a stripey triangle inset panel at the cleavage (for want of a better description!) Hope this help someone!
  • OOh looking good helen big labour vibes to you.
Hugs to 32b I don't have anything to add other than thinking of you.
EA i loose stuff all the time mainly my car keys and my wedding ring. It has a pattern on it and i find that soap, cream, dirt gets in the pattern all the time so i often take it off to do certain things to keep it clean i should put it on a necklace but i never learn. the key is not to look for it and it will turn up. But not always i will never forgive myself as i lost my mothers ruby ring i adored it as a child and i wore it once when i was teenager to a party and i lost it, I am sure i had it on when i was back at home but it is gone and i have always felt guilty about it. I now don't borrow anything from anyone as i know i will loose it.

I have currently lost a maternity top that my hubby bought me. I really liked it and need it but i can't for the life of me find it. I have never even worn it. Most likely my hubby finds the things i have lost so fingers crossed it turns up.

I honestly have the worst memory, i always lose things lol.
In the past few weeks i've lost, my passport, my ipod and now my ring.

OH found the passport, sister found and "borrowed" the ipod (i got that back in the end cheeky c0w lol) and now the ring has gone.

OH said if we cant find it he'll buy me a new one, but i still feel bad :(

Phew, its so hot at work. They moved us to another floor *sigh* but our systems work on this floor so im back to working again lol x

  • I have been busy all day thought i would come on and catch up, have a chat for a bit but been reading too much as it's time to get my ds from school already. Anyway just wanted to say i just ordered this free delivery to store and there are some clothes in the sale hth

Oh another thing we have lost
Do you think d.i.y stores would sell cotbed fittings? We made a start on the cotbed yesterday and are missing 3 bolts and nuts they are of course a certain kind so not the standard things they may sell. We nipped to a local independant store yesterday but they didn't have anything suitable.
