Thanks for making me welcome everyone! I know 22nd June seems like a lifetime away! My DD birthday is 11th June but she was 2 1/2 weeks late so I'm not banking on the 22nd! ha ha!
Evansangel- How exciting! March will be here before you know it! Is it baby no. 1 or do you have other children too?
Like I said before, I have been very sick already, but I am so excited that it doesn't really bother me. With DD I was sick until 22 weeks, then fine for a while, then from 33 weeks was sick every day again, so I'm in for the long haul I reckon. So far (the 1 week I have been sick) I am following the same pattern as with DD, get up, be sick, then fine for the rest of the day, long may it last as I can't handle the constant nausea!

2 things...
this is kinda sad, but I've never actually had heartburn before but I think I am starting to get it. Nothing 'burns' exactly, but just feels like a lot of pressure in my chest/esophagus area - DH says this can be heartburn too? It's never been painful but one time did get to where I needed to sit up for a few minutes til it passed. Wondering if I should get a prescript as I'll be in the same bldg as my GP on Friday for antenatal classes (yay!)? or can I get it from my MW?
the 2nd is I discovered last night that squeezing my nipples (LOL, tmi) results in a tiny amount of liquid...cool but scary!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Oh how exciting will have to try this later, Just wondering at what stage your bump starts to drop down a bit because not sure when to expected this or if it's happening already and i just cant tell.Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
32b - enormous hugs to you and your family. Words fail me to say anything else.
Tell me I am being paranoid - I've had absolutely no movement this morning at all (am 32+4 today) even with prodding (my poor son!). I know everyone is different so I am not asking if this is normal but do any of you record movement and if so how? I think I might start doing this as I don't know if this is normal for me or not, I think it might be but my head is mainly mush at the moment. I feel like I have no-one to talk to about it - I don't want to worry DP anymore, I've not been able to get hold of my mum since the scan on Thursday, my IL's are being mega overprotective so don't want to worry them, of my close friends, they all have their own things at the mo. I've got a midwife appt on Thursday so hoping I can get through until then without completely losing it.
Please go and get checked out, hun. My MW goes on and on about getting checked if you don't feel your usual pattern of movements. I find I have days when I get more than others, but if you're worried then please go. The maternity unit would much rather people went and got checked.thats funny the bit treat it straight away , i just been down there for them to tell me i can have a appointment in 3 weeks time :eek::eek: , told them im PG just had op , and noow this letter , they said not to worry do i want the appointment in 3weeks time , i said NO felt upset and just walked out .
I would phone up and ask for an emergency apt, if I was you. Or can you call your MW and ask her to arrange a prescription if it is a UTI? You might not necessarily need to see you.32b, massive vibes for your poor sister, and of course to you and the rest of your family right now!
Yorky- I'm another one who has has cloudy wee before, so much I even apologised to the midwife for it being so cloudy:rotfl:
Gisi- how flamin annoying about your tens machine  I'd be p1ssed off too!!
Don't read the following if having your dinner!!....
Ladies, please send me your labour vibes..I woke up this morning feeling all wet between the legs, went to the loo and discovered more of a show in my pj bottoms but not snotty green anymore, it was all bloody and quite alot of it! More came away when I wiped too. Was having mild period like cramps too, and had a clear out of my bowels, TWICE lol in half an hour. Took kids to school, came home and the cramps stopped but I've had more bloody show come away. MW was coming over this morning anyway for my homebirth risk assessment so told her. It was the really nice MW I like and have said before that I hope I get her when Im in labour. She was so excited bless her, said hopefully I won't be long starting now and could I hurry it up cos she's going on holiday on Thursday and is desperate to do another home water birth as she loves them!!She measured me as spot on 38cm (Im 38weeks on Wednesday) and felt my stomach and said he's a good size. Heart rate still 150 and BP fine. She's popping back when she finishes work with my home birth kit :T
I know I could still be waiting a few weeks yet but can't help feeling excited!!!! If I could have him before the weekend that would be lovely, so girls..please send your biggest labour vibes!! I'm off to finish off the pineapple I started last night and bounce on my gym ball! xxx
Yay, I'm so excited for you!!! Fingers crossed this is the start of it all.
Welcome Fernlibee! It's lovely to start seeing all these summer EDDs coming through.
JHA- hugs for you. Hopefully you are through the worst of it and coming through the other side now.
I'm just having a late lunch of a huge salad and jacket potato and I decided to brave town and walk home! Only about a mile or so, but after walking round town as well I'm pretty tired now. Got my posting done though and returned something to Primark so quite productive.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
lol EA I've tried it before but this is the first time anything has happened! It's likely too early for you as I'm just now 29 weeks
. Boobs had been hurting all day so maybe it was a sign? hehe

Welcome June newbies.
Always - get it checked out. One morning I hadn't felt jr and was in tears until I felt movement. OH didn't understabnd and went off to work but I wasn't going to work until I felt something. I tried to do normal routine stuff to try and get Jr to move - plus did a lot of shaking my belly and poking lol. I was so upset but relieved when jr did finally move. Since then he/she doesn't seemed to have stopped - maybe too afraid now incase the shaking/proddding starts again. Fingers crossed for you.
Helen - can't believe you have been having a show, etc. I have nothing yet. Still waiting for Jr to "drop" or something. No idea what I am going to do when something does happen - probably run round panicking lol But labour vibes to you so you can meet your sonTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0
