  • Hi,
I'm just nipping on at work, so I haven't yet had a chance to catch up with what's been said, so I'm sending general hugs if you need 'em and general labour vibes if you need 'em and stay put vibes if you don't (you get the general idea!). I'll try and catch up properly later.
I've just seen the consultant to discuss having a planned caesarean and was very shocked to be already given a date for it to take place. At the moment my EDD is 20th April, but apparently I'll be having the caesarean on 13th April, all being well, so I'll be jumping the queue slightly...
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • 32b - I've just read your post, and I'm so sorry to hear your news, I just don't know what to say. I'm sending you virtual hugs and I've got my fingers crossed for you.

We too have the tiniest freezer, our fridge is dying lol so we are waiting till it dies lol and are going to buy an american style one, I know the freezer part on them isnt totally massive but its at least twice the size of the one we have lol

EA - yes I did lol that was one of the questions I got asked as well lol I ws like !!!!!!, they asked if I was comfortable at home as well and if I ever felt in danger!! I mean !!!!!! lol I know they have to do it in case OH is violent or something? so I just replied saying I feel completely safe

Haha, i just said "do we look related then?" and she said that someone had answered yes to the related question once

I cant get over my dream last night, the baby was sooo cute :)

32b - enormous hugs to you and your family. Words fail me to say anything else.

Tell me I am being paranoid - I've had absolutely no movement this morning at all (am 32+4 today) even with prodding (my poor son!). I know everyone is different so I am not asking if this is normal but do any of you record movement and if so how? I think I might start doing this as I don't know if this is normal for me or not, I think it might be but my head is mainly mush at the moment. I feel like I have no-one to talk to about it - I don't want to worry DP anymore, I've not been able to get hold of my mum since the scan on Thursday, my IL's are being mega overprotective so don't want to worry them, of my close friends, they all have their own things at the mo. I've got a midwife appt on Thursday so hoping I can get through until then without completely losing it.

I read on one website that you should feel 10 movements in 2 hours but that you don't start counting until you feel a movement. The movements do change at your stage from kicks to general twisting around which can be harder to feel sometimes . I would try lying down and changing position a few times to see if you get anything.

Always - do you have a gym ball? You could try bouncing on that for a bit maybe?

Or maybe pretend your going to have a sleep, and baby will sense this and wiggle away :D x

thats funny the bit treat it straight away , i just been down there for them to tell me i can have a appointment in 3 weeks time :eek::eek: , told them im PG just had op , and noow this letter , they said not to worry do i want the appointment in 3weeks time , i said NO felt upset and just walked out .

That's terrible, every time I try to make an appoinmtment at my docs they say 'we don't have any available that week' and try to fob me off but every time I say 'the doctor said I have to have an appointment that week' at which point they go and check with the doctor then magically find me an appointment. I would ring your surgery again and either ask to speak to the doctor to find out why the letter was sent or try getting another appointment.

    M: Quite important yes.
R: we have thursday next fortnight?
    M: Err, no, sooner?
R: I doubt it but i'll look *looks* we have next thursday?
M: I think i need to see a doc sooner then that...
R: Oh, umm... tomorrow we have a free slot.

    !!!

On the being related question, a friend of my sisters had to answer yes as she and her hubby are distant cousins. Shes originally from india and its not unusual there I believe. I was like ! when the midwife asked me but I guess it's just something they need to know.

Ladies, please send me your labour vibes..I woke up this morning feeling all wet between the legs, went to the loo and discovered more of a show in my pj bottoms but not snotty green anymore, it was all bloody and quite alot of it! More came away when I wiped too. Was having mild period like cramps too, and had a clear out of my bowels, TWICE lol in half an hour. Took kids to school, came home and the cramps stopped but I've had more bloody show come away. MW was coming over this morning anyway for my homebirth risk assessment so told her. It was the really nice MW I like and have said before that I hope I get her when Im in labour. She was so excited bless her, said hopefully I won't be long starting now and could I hurry it up cos she's going on holiday on Thursday and is desperate to do another home water birth as she loves them!! :D She measured me as spot on 38cm (Im 38weeks on Wednesday) and felt my stomach and said he's a good size. Heart rate still 150 and BP fine. She's popping back when she finishes work with my home birth kit :T

I know I could still be waiting a few weeks yet but can't help feeling excited!!!! If I could have him before the weekend that would be lovely, so girls..please send your biggest labour vibes!! I'm off to finish off the pineapple I started last night and bounce on my gym ball! xxx
