She asked me how all was at home I said good and hubby was excited more than me, for some reason she didnt think we lived together.. which anoyed me a bit, maybe its because he has only been to a couple appointments god knows x

Must be the poop weather making us all eat porridge :D

I've only started buying normal oats recently, used to get the microwave packets :o But concluded they're a waste of ££s.

Get this for a gross job - gotta load my rubbish into my dads car to go to the skip now as our bins still haven't been emptied. The binmen are on strike in Leeds  I'm actually going to have to empty the rubbish from the black bin because it smells so bad after 5 weeks

I'm also getting annoyed with the bins not being emptied - our bin day is tomorrow and I really hope it gets done then.

I'm with you on the porridge!! I almost had it this morning but decided to go for a spinach and cheese omelette with griddles tomatoes, mushrooms and a slice of bacon instead!! I'm recently converted to porridge though, went off it after being force fed it on cold mornings when I was a kid! I like golden syrup in mine too.
And I counted our copper jar which has £67 in and is only a 1/3 full woo-hoo, we also have a £2 coin jar which has I think abtou £50 in, but we dont seem to get many £2 coins lately.

I think £2 coins are all saved up in jars in people's houses! I never see them any more!
I've never though about my engagement ring not being able to fit :( thats going to make me very sad when I have to take it off :(

Aww, I've only just started wearing my wedding ring, I don't want to stop!!

Well I'm off to go pick up my slow cooker in a minute! Got a turkey thigh joint in asda yesterday that needs cooking today (was reduced down to £1.50 :money:) so I'm going to try out the cooker with that!

Lol, i just remembered, at your booking in appointment, did any of you get asked any weird questions? Or questions that at least made you look up and say "what?"

My weird one was: Are you and the baby's father related? :rotfl:

I was like, "No... Why...?" :rotfl:

Hey I've just found out I'm pregnant, edd 16/6/2010 :)
I work 2 days a week, and my partner works about an hours drive away but different shifts each day. Typically, the day he works all afternoon and also is one of my days, is also the day the midwife is in my drs. Is there anyway I can see her somewhere else without changing surgerys? Have spoken to reception at mine but they're not at all helpful. I like my dr and have been there since birth so would rather not change.

Congratulations! I wouldn't worry too much about your OH attending the apt. The early ones are just a case of you giving information. The scans are the fun bit for OHs to attend!

You could always ask your MW though- it depends what she does on the other days.

I've had cloudy urine when I've had to take a sample to the MW and it's never been a problem so I'm assuming it's normal....

Off to post office in a bit as I need to post my one eBay item that sold. I also need to list some more bits so might do that today as it's nice and sunny for picture taking. I'm rubbish at picture taking though and usually get OH to do it!!!

My OH wants to go to our 1st appointment which is 2wks today, I think he would feel left out, upset if I said no to him being there

  • nanc, not long now then. Labour vibes on their way if you want them!

Funny mw should think hubby didn't live with you. Maybe she got you mixed up with someone else or something (bit rude, either way though I reckon).
