Order over £30 and return to shop Nikkit? I'm a bit cheeky like that :D

Stupid Tesco - over it now, i didn't really need their credit card just wanted it as my cashback on current one is coming to an end and I'm trying to save clubcard points!! Will be intrigued to see the reason why though.

Pee'd off now with OH's family, we've gotta drive over ot his parents to 7.30 - they live 40 minutes away, then have tea and come back again, will be gone 12 by the time we get back. 1/ when i'm hungry, I'm hungry NOW 2/ I'm tired and in bed by 9.30 most night. ARGH thoughtless buffoons.

On the bright side, I'm in bed now snuggled up with the cats and might just enjoy a nap before i have to go :D Also, had it confirmed that OH is off to Barcelona nxt wk, which will be good for him even if I am lonesome in the house at night, and it means I get to drive the car for 3 days, will feel like a right treat!!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

Afternoon all, No news from csh?
No idea if my hospital will take us round for a look. asked about booking antenatal at my appointment and she said ask at the next(30wks) got home to read my pack and the flyer says book at 28weeks to avoid disappointment. So i asked CMW if they booked them when i called her and she said no see the hosp MW.

But may be at the hosp at 28 wks for GTT.
Karen i had pre cancerous cells too and the MW had not been informed she said i would get a test after the birth, may be different at other PCT's though.

Wish i hadn't went to mums today sis is in a right state got hold of one of the girls that come to help her relax and informed her i will be taking them to the GMC for lack of care and constant passing the problem to other departments her face was a picture. Hope it may get things moving as i am sure they don't want to hear from them lol ...................Well see.

And i'm starting to waddle too, Constantly have a sore back too but that's nothing new really.

Girlies have any of you here previously had a big baby (9lb 15oz +)? The reason I ask is that my 2nd dd was 7 days late weighing 10lb 9oz (the 1st was 10 days early weighing 8lb 2oz).

The midwife at my booking in appointment was taken aback at dd2's size (as everyone always is) but almost dismissed my questions over the size of this one saying 'there's no reason why this one will grow to that sort of size'. I did come away feeling reassured but actually there was no reason last time either! I'm 5ft 6 and usually weigh around 9 and a half stone so its not related to my weight and I have no reason to suspect gestational diabetes - although I didn't have a glucose test before and will get one this time.

Anyway I have been trying to find out as much as I can about big babies, I was completely unprepared last time and found myself and my bub being treated like a bit of a freak show. I won't be unprepared again.

The up side is I found it less difficult giving birth to her than I did the first, normal sized one and I am confident about that part of it, hence plans for homebirth. The down side is I know there will be a huge fuss over expected size (I've been told to expect growth scans towards the end) and pressure to give in to a hospital birth/being induced early/having a CS - none of which my research so far suggests is necessary/beneficial.

Wow huge waffle! :o Just wondering if anyone on here is in the same boat as everyone I know in real life has lovely dinky 7lb ers and therefore can't help!

nikkit72 look on the m&s discount thread there are loads of codes for free delivery and 10 % off http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1025199&page=19

I got 3 4 2 on some underwear used a 10% off free delivery and a £5 off underwear code got 3 bras and 3 pants for something silly like £16 when it should have been £36 hth

Can't believe people are calling for Anton Du Beke to be sacked. I know he shouldn't have said it. It was wrong but he was only joking as laila had just had a spray tan and he was poking fun at the colour of it. I think it all depends on how it is said. But it did upset her and he should have known it would, but i still don't think he should be sacked.

Well it's just one thing after another here at the moment for me with this house. Just had the bathroom refitted cos it was leaking, a lot, through the floor and through the ceiling of the hall, then my oven went, then just now I went to clean out a cupboard that backs onto the outside wall as I spilled a bag of cous cous (annoying enough in itself!) well the bloody thing is damp!

Got a box of paella rice that was pushed right up against the back and it's all swollen up as the rice has obviously got wet and there's some mould on the back of it. Don't want to put anything back in the cupboard now but I need the space! Daren't phone the landlord again as it feels like we're on at them every oher day. Don't wnat them to think we are taking the pi55 and certainly don't want them to decide not to renew our contract when it runs out as that is only 2 weeks after EDD :eek::eek:

I don't need all this stress :( not with both my mums parents really ill and my mum almost having a breakdown.

Kelinik, I'm sorry I have no previous experience, but homebirth.org has a really good section on big babies and how it can still be safe to labour at home :)

The main objection is usually fear of shoulder dystocia, but from what I know you have none of the risk factors. Happy to say more about that if you'd like me to :)
