Madwoman and cheapskate used to post quite often but I haven't seen them on for a while, vicstar keeps up with the thread but doesn't like posting as she has had a few issue, Vicstar - if you are reading let us know you are ok! And don't forget Fidget! Last day in the office for me is the 15th :T.
Still here, jennynoo, just so manic I don't get chance to read often, never mind post! Hope you're doing OK, you're only a few days behind me in theory, although we could go at any time!
My friend who was due today had her baby yesterday, due home today, can't wait to see her & baby.:j
All here had a stinking cold, really bad cough, think it woke up the p!le I'd had with last baby - (TMI alert!) been in lots of pain since weekend & think friction caused a bit of bleeding IYKWIM - sorry! On the mend now, so didn't go to see dr. Thought I'd escaped the complaints everyone else has had in pregnancy, but seems there's still time for me to have problems! :rotfl:
On a lighter note, finally made some jam this afternoon - now 4 big jars of blackberry cooling in the kitchen - feel really pleased with myself! :j Hoping to make some cinnamon & raisin apple conserve later in the week from apples a friend gave me - let you know if it turns out OK.
Labour vibes big time to squishy & csh - once they're accounted for I think I'm 3rd - bit scary, that! Just need until Sunday to finish some jobs & see if DH & I can go out once more (teenage DS babysits but I never asked him to do it for a new baby, not fair) before we can't for several months.
Love & kisses to all, be back after tea - toddler asleep & it's wrong time of day - need to peel spuds etc & get a quick cuppa!

Hello
I'm in a bit of a strop - come home to a letter from Tesco rejecting my request for a credit card, despite my credit history being squeaky clean, or at least it always has been, just sent off for an Experian report in case there's something dodgy on there I don't know aboutOn the bright side, had mine & OH's tax discs back with private reg's off so I can now send them off for a rebate
& I've got all the mortgage paperwork through to have a fiddle around with
I'm so tragic!
my mum got refused a tesco card too , she has the cleanist file ever , reason found out was no home phone number ,,Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -

Does anyone else get a stitch after only walking a little way? I keep getting one in the same place, right by my right hip bone, at the egde of my bump. When it starts it gets really sore and I have to walk dead slow and rub it while I'm walking.
And DH says I'm starting to waddle! Cheers for that babe!
I started getting a stitch when i was sitting down  can't remember when that was a while back now. But still get one occasionally when walking about.ha ha Its gross I walk then stop... less than two weeks at work now though thank god im sat down most of the day, and two weeks thurs until DD.. its gone very very quick, and I can honestly say there isnt really much I've enjoyed about being preggs.. apart from the fact I'm hopefully growing a lovely baby inside me
I can't believe you are still at work - although if we weren't made to take AL before ML then I would probably still be working. The last couple of weeks for me were awful, but my boss let me leave early each night (although I still ended up working till 5 as there was a lot I wanted to get done before I fnished)Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)
Floyd Peter arrived 9th July 2011 (1 day early)0 -

It's a nursing bra and it is really good i can't fit into my old nursing bras and i hadn't looked at any yet but it is really supportive and the navy lace is the only bit that come down leaving a nice hole for baby not having the whole boob out like with my old brasThis is my signature!0 -

I'm not that unrecognisable am I? Again it looks like I will have to go and eat some worms, sniffle
Fidget - am sorry, like aless said preggo brain - plus am trying not to use my brain in the office :grouphug:to you from me and more importantly also for the size comments you've had. So far, touchwood, I've not had bad comments about my size but then maybe because I'm having so many scans it makes me somehow less concerned. Was a bit miffed when OH said he thought my hips looked bigger the other night tho, men, eh
lou - bit of result on the radio! well done you! and to think I got excited by a pair of baby show tickets!
ooh - nearly half 4, practically hometime, marvellous!0 -

I used to get this too, think it stopped around 34 weeks or so. I couldn't get OH to understand how it could be so painful after only a few steps.
I definitely waddle now, I am resigned to it! I can't wait to be able to walk normally and at my normal, fast speed! I am so flipping slow at the moment.
Right-off to make a lasagne now to try and show OH that I haven't been totally lazy all day (which I have, but he doesn't need to know) .

MW appointment went OK (36 weeks) there was a trace of protein in my urine so she is sending it off to get it tested properly.
I mentioned I was due a smear test - I have them regularly after having abnormal cells and had a colposcopy - and she said nothing had been written on my notes and she had to check to see if I needed any further testing to do at the hospital. Luckily not though its only if you have a cone something or other. I hadn't thought to mention it before as I have been clear for a couple of years but if anyone else has had one you may want to mention it next time you see your MW.
Whoever got a tour of their hospital - you are sooo lucky they don't do that anymore here. We get told we can ask for a CD which shows the delivery suite, etc but apparently they haven't even got any of them!! Oh well.
my next appointment in two weeks has to be at a different surgery because my local ones booked up so that will be fun - word of advice when you get to your two-weekly appointments book a few in advance! I have booked my 40 week appointment now tooTegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Just been browsing the M&S sale and they have a few baby bits. I got a spotty outfit reduced from £12 to £3, some socks for £2 and a few other bits. Might be worth a look.************ Baby born 8th Jan 10************0
