Hello everyone
Feeling a bit sorry for myself tonight. Had a bad headache all day and couldn't take anything coz I'm not at my 12 weeks yet
Went straight to bed when I got home and slept for a couple of hours. Feeling much better but feel like I've just eaten !!!! all night instead of a proper dinner but can't work myself up to fancy anything.
Think I'll go back to bed again soon!
Most guidelines say you can take paracetamol - but I'm not a doc so check with your pharmacist or doc. Just make sure it is only paracetamol and doesn't have anything else with it.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

Just popping on quickly but not got chance to catch up sorry, Gill you can use the 4head sticks for headaches at any time in pregnancy. I checked with midwife as I was getting awful headaches all the time. Someone here suggested allowing a bit of caffeine as well if you've been cutting it out (I had) and the odd cup of coffee did seem to help. HTH xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0

If you were used to a lot of caffeine before you got pregnant then suddenly stopped you can get caffeine withdrawal which causes headaches so taking some would help but generally you should cup down or cut our caffeine.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

I'll second the 4Head stuff - it's a God-send!! I know I can take paracetamol but I try not to take too much due to personal preferences so back when I was getting headaches almost every day a few months ago, I started using 4Head and it's great! Good way to avoid taking too much paracetamol if that's important to you.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Evening Ladies!
Haven't been feeling too great today as i have been suffering from really bad nausea as well as some stomach cramps (both by my hips and also above my belly button and around my breastbone). Am gonna call the doctor tommorow so i can get an appointment but i just need to make sure the snobby receptionist doesn't try to fobb me off. Also whilst i'm there i'll ask if there's anything i can do to relieve my headaches - don't want to take paracetamol as i'm unsure whether or not it's ssafe.
Anyway i'm gonna go to bed soon and just hope that i don't end up vomiting.
Can't wait until my midwife gets in touch so i can do my booking appointment.Married since 28/04/2007

heya ladies sorry for the lateness of the day dont know wher it went!
Had an absolutely pants day at work considering I work at Mothercare, I work with some very selfish and rude people. They have been complaining am not pulling my weight! Have been in floods of tears and got the most stinking headache. Apparently even tho am PG and suffering with miagraines and a bad back I have no excuse for not lugging about heavy stuff like pushchairs and carseats! !!!!!! I'm so pee'd off with them, I know I'm PG not ill but I dont wanna take any daft risks. I can't beleive my colleagues can't see this, they know it took me 6 years and IVF to concieve. I really hate it there and feel I can't trust any of them now, what makes it worse is there all part time and I'm one of only 2 full timers so they have no idea the work I do when there not there. Anyhoo rant over I will not let this ruin my good news.
So scan went super fab and am pleased to say we are looking good for Team Pink :female: woohooWas so good to see bubs again and she is perfect, she was waving and boxing and is just so cute. Her measurements are all perfect for her dates so thats such a relief. Both of us are over the moon. Went to Mr T after to spend some of our doubled up rewards and got some pink sale bargains in the clothing department, body suits 5 for £2 amongst other things.
Lou congrats on the win, very fab
Welcome tothe noobies :hello:
On the headche topic 4 head is great for some relief and paracetamol is safe if doc says so, mine prescribed me 200+ to deal with my headaches, and its fine for long term use as non addictive.
Well off to bed now headache is still hovering and am worn out from days events. Sorry if I missed anyone out xxBaby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Yay Somnium congrats!!! Welcome to team pink
After 6 years i bet it all feels quite surreal!
Sorry to hear about work though, are you the manager? If not then i'd tell manager to tell the part timers that you can't lift as per risk assessment and to kindly !!!!!! lol.0 -
congrats on team pink Som
I agree with everything Beenie said - speak to your manager. You can't be lifting stuff and your risk assessment would reflect thisA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
