Karen- This was the delivery suite I spoke to! I'm going to speak to OH when he gets up and see what he says(I'm letting him sleep in cos I have been keeping him awake all week with my fidgeting at night)
LOL at home birth! No chance- had Eclampsia in last pregnancy and still at risk of it this time during labour. Plus I want to be near drugs!!

just looking at the latest list, and unless I am having a very bad memory moment, once csh and squishy have graduated to the mummy's list, the next name I recognise is jennynoo! Your due date, Jenny, is the same as my last day in the office - double celebrations hopefully

scared myself - am now 31st on the list with 58 days to go.

somnium -good luck with the scan!
  • Morning everyone. Firstly huge hugs to csh- I agree that you should wait a bit then phone back and speak to someone else. Do you have a mobile number for your CMW that you could try? I wouldn't worry about going more than 10-12 days over as some PCTs do let you go 14 days as standard, but if your waters have gone then you are absolutely right to want to be seen.

EA- how about Pizza Express? They have a two courses and a drink deal for £10 deal at the moment and the one at Gun Wharf is lovely! Happy Anniversary to the pair of you.

Well I've got a mystery shop today, which means a few more pennies in the baby fund. Only downside is I've got to walk there as OH has the car but I can take it slowly (especially back up the hill) and there is a free lunch in it for me!

OMG I burnt my bump last night! I leant on a part of the oven which had got really hot and now have a horrid raised burn to go with my stretchmarks. I hope the MW doesn't think I've been abused or anything!

Csh I hope you manage to speak to someone with a bit more sense when you call back, good luck x You did make me laugh you wanna be near the drugs lol I dont blame you I would too.

I really should be doing the housework not on here, it moves so fast its hard to keep up, will be going to get DS in a minute, the morning goes so quickly and my peace and quiet will be shattered.

Hello, new to this thread but an old MSE'r. I'm expecting baby No.2 at the end of January & recently bought a second hand Phil & Ted's E3 buggy, but the elbow joints supposedly for the E3 model don't fit - they're too short and I've not seen any different clips anywhere - any one else had this problem ? Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for all the lovely comments about Holly.

Csh – poor you. You must be really frustrated. If you are worried, just go along to the hospital and tell them you could not get through on the phone and would lie checked out. It might not be your waters, but if you think there is a chance it could be then they have a duty to check you out!

GISI – hope your bump is ok. Enjoy your free lunch. At least if someone else is making it, you can’t do yourself an injury!

Lou – congrats! That’s a nice bonus for you. Bet your OH will be pleased!

EA – enjoy your lunch. I would have opted for Nandos personally though! I love it. Especially the piri piri fries!

Karen – hope you are enjoying your mat leave. Your post count will be much higher now!

Always – That is really rude. I would definitely say something cheeky to the individual! Not worth getting upset over though as you don’t have long to go anyway.

Somni – hope your scan goes well.

Ok, can’t type any more with one hand, so appropriate feel better/welcomes etc to everyone else!
