Going to have a wee moan cos I'm upset
Just off the phone to the hospital and the MW couldn't have been any less interested! CMW tells me every week if I have any concerns to phone Labour ward and the 1 time in nearly 42wks that I do I was completely fobbed off

Definately had some water leakage last night cos it was bloody and there is nothing else it could have been.(Defo not show, not mucus at all it was just watery blood) Had 4 hrs of contractions every 5 mins but the didn't get any more frequent, also no more leaking after the initial half hour. Told all this to the MW on the phone as she was like, whatever, if the leaking has stopped it won't have been your waters???? !!!!!!????? So if its not waters, care to explain what the bleeding was? She goes thats quite normal. Just put a pad on and if it doesn't get wet, we'll see you on Thursday as planned.

Everything I have ever read on leaking waters tells you to get checked out as increased risk of infection. Also have read that that either hind waters can go or baby's head can plug waters after they have ruptured so really expected to be checked out today.

Am really upset cos I'm so tired too, and everyone I speak to IRL is like, its bad for baby to go more than 10-12 days over. I'm sick of having to explain there is nothing I can do if the hospital won't take me til Thursday :mad:

Morning everyone not been around the last few days been really busy here so sorry if i've missed anything not had chance to catch up with all the goss yet. Did i get added to the list? I'd do it myself but i know i'd mess it up i'm terrible on a comptuer i can just about manage this:o

I'm absolutly shattered today. I totally gutted my upstairs yesterday. Got rid of 2 bags of rubbish and 3 bags of old clothes. I dont know how i fit it all in my wardrobe coz it doesnt look and emptier now:rotfl:
Not been sleeping well lately either think i'm gonna have to get myself a body pillow anyone know of any good offers on them at the moment?
Thankfully i've done all my jobs for today apart from washing which i'm about to go and do then i can chill for the day, actually forget that with a 3yr old its not likey to happen he's loopy this morning. I'll have to take him somewhere so he can use up all his energy;)

aww, Csh, really do hope something happens for you today and you don't have to wait until Thursday - perhaps you could phone again and tell them how upset you are and you are worried about infection, maybe you'll get someone who has half a braincell.

can I have a teensy (and compared to you csh, it's bearly justifiable) moan too -was off work yetserday and my maternity cover was sat at my desk and moved my photo of DP off the wall. I know they (ie boss and replacement) are counting down the days as much as me til I go but even so thought that was a tad rude.

chs - perhaps wait 30 minutes & phone back to try and speak to someone different? or if you're the pushy sort, ask for the supervisor. Everywhere you read DOES tell you phone is you think your waters have gone/there is blood so this MW is obviously lazy & doesn't give a toss. Don't let them bully you! Fingers crossed...

Hope Squishy's doing okay and holding her baby now!!

Always very rude! I've a picture of my dog in my office and someone tried to take it down, I found it in the drawer! I went a bit mental and no one would admit to it! Its your desk until you leave (and take your things) and no one should be touching your things IMO!

Hugs to you csh, I would try phoning again and hopefully someone else may answer. If not cant you just turn up there !!! Always hug to you as well, how much longer have you got, thats really mean. My boss does not want me to leave but his nurse cant wait because she thinks she will then be in charge. Bennie i have a second hand pump and am planning on using it. Really fed up oh is off work today due to the rain which means he wont get paid and we are going to have to go inton our savings for bumper. Also It seems that bumper is right under my broken rib and is wiggling about causing me to be in quite a bit of pain. Hugs to everyone else

Always - definitely rude!

CSH - maybe try calling the delivery suite at the hospital. They are always telling you to get in touch when something happens, you just want to be reassured or told to go to hospital (don't know if you were meant to be having a HB) to be checked out. Its the least they can do especially as they know you are overdue.

I can't believe there are June dates on the EDD too. Where has the time gone???

CSH : i would phone back and try to talk to someone else, or another idea , just turn up at the ward and say i you are really worried , maybe lie a bit and say you haven't felt bubs move as much that way I'm sure they would get you in ,
My 2 nd son i had the hind waters go 5 days before he was born and he was 9 days late , and because of this had to stay in hospital 7 days as he was on antibiotics , as yes you guessed it he had a infection due to them not taking me in at that time HTH,
hope you get it sorted asap CSH , can you not get in to see your GP who may then speak to the ward and tell you to go straight in ,
