three2be don't worry - we all like to coo over scan pics so you don't need them anyway :D

Congrats Lauralou - did you get the early scan via the NHS? v jealous if so!

Ooh the other day I was talking about getting a private gender scan if anyone remember...concluded we're going to hold out til 20 weeks as we won't get one now til mid next week even if we booked today so no point as it's only 2 weeks from then. As a compromise, OH has said I can spend the £100 we'd have spent on that on myself rather than saving as I'd usually do, so today I got myself some new boots, they're lovely flat brown leather ankle boots with studding across the front, I love them :D Also got a Primarni dress, should hopefully grow with me as it's a tulip shape with a bit of a pleated bit under the bust, ooh and a new pair of pumps from there (mega impressed that they're doing leather pumps now for £11!). Debating with myself now whether to save the last bit of money towards one of these: http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/90/5/AAAAAqjVT0MAAAAAAJBdcg.jpg - I think it'd make an ace changing bag?!

p.s. bought OH some Armani Code today from Wilkinson's - half price on the 50ml so only £16 which is a bargain compared to £40+ in Boots - just telling incase anyone elses OH's use this :) There's also the ladies version on half price - good as a little treat or putting away as a Christmas pressie? Call me cheap but I love getting a bargain and having people think I've spent loads come Christmas :D
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j

On the friends thing again my old school has a website that all my old friends are on, i joined years ago to keep up with the gossip etc(hey i'm human lol)Any way i posted scan pic on it last week announced bubs on it's way and not one of them has commented on it.:( wouldn't mind so much but they had 3 pages on a girls necklace that you could only see if you enlarge the pic. Glad i didn't bother my butt with them all these years.

That sucks 32b! Is also exactly what I feel like, I have 2 friends on facebook who are also pregnant (they live in different towns) and every time they write a status update they are inundated with excited comments saying "it won't be long" etc. I've not got anything like that for months so much so that I actually wrote earlier that I felt like I'd fallen off the face of the earth and only someone I barely know has put a comment to that! I think I will go and eat worms!

    Hiya gymfiend
, it's a lovely bag, but my practical head wants to say that you might find those straps don't go over your buggy handles easily, they look a little short and close together. I guess the advantage of the regular kind, with this kind of strap:

    peruvianroll_277_2.jpg

Is that you don't have to go under the buggy to get stuff out quickly, cos it's right in front of you! HTH, I'll butt out now! ;):p

ooh no, just comitted big pregnant lady sin - ate raw egg. But in my defence was in chocolate cake mix - I mean how you can make chocolate fairy cakes and not have a lick of the spoon :D

saw nice midwife this afternoon (31 week appointment) and blood pressure still normal and baby has good heartbeat too. After yesterday's exhaustion, feeling better today - she checked my haemoglobin (sp!) from the 28 week bloods and it was "fantastic" so she doesn't think I am aneamic but just need to start taking it easy and eat more and more sensibly, especially as I have started to lose weight. I bought size 14 maternity jeans and they all sag off me now - I was a 12/14 before pregnancy so bought 14 thinking I was bound to put weight on. She did say my bump was a bit small (measuring 30 weeks) but as he's been small all along and I have a scan next Thurs anyway, she wasn't overly concerned.

SJ - hugs to you with family news being so much all at once, I can empathise a little bit. My fil and uncle and dp's aunt have all been diagnosed with and having treatment for cancer since I got pg, touchwood all is going well except for aunt who probably won't ever get to see her great nephew.

Mmm, cakes is smelling yummy, must remember not to eat them all before my friends birthday drinks tomorrow night!

    Hiya ladies,

Sorry I've not been on in a couple of days - almost jealous of you all having 'normal' jobs so you can sit at your desk & nose on MSE :D Not sure if I have the mental capacity to catch up properly (I think baby is stealing my intelligence) but will try.

Kindof - good luck with the grocery challenge :) Since I stopped taking OH shopping with me, I save tonnes! He only gets beer when it's on offer (I keep threatening to buy him Asda value beer when he moans - soon shuts him up!!!). We've a house packed with food and supplies though as I'm a total offer hoarder, so should there ever be a famine in my area we'll be ok for a good few months :D Brill news on the test results too :)

Ooh I have a food dilemma...thai curry or chicken tikka for tea? Decisions decisions...I can't wait to be able to make food decisions in advance again :D

I know it is good being able to sneak on here lol :)

Thanks :) thankfully OH doesnt really drink so we dont spend any money on that BUT he loves his Square crisps and chocolate lol so a bit of money goes on that lol

I vote for Thai Green Curry its my fav curry ever lol

Laura - YAY for your scan appointment

Thats a lovely bay gymfiend :) and yay for your purchases :) we are getting a 4D scan at 28 weeks ish its £199 but I sooo want it lol

Good Christmas Present tip too :)

Ooh no poor you, I know how you feel something similar happened to me after I'd washed and ironed all my tiny clothes - OH started building the flat-pack ikea chest of drawers (not too expensive so not as bad) and then he decided it couldn't be built half way through and said he had finished but that none of the drawers would open  ever  because if anyone tried they would break  Was totally thrilled with that I can tell you!

Hope you can get it sorted soon x
