kindof - it's a posh hotel in London ;) Got the big monthly shop this weekend so until then won't really be spending much money. The £5.50 is just for cat food that I doubled up on last month, lol!!

Don't want to leave it to long as in both previous pregnancies iron was low and each MW and doctor always assumed the other was dealing with it. I was 7 1/2mths with DS before i found out because MW asked if i still had enough tablets left.

Although given that i have changed doctors i hope things are a bit better when it comes to patient care.

32b I've had problems getting iron test results. The first time I was tested I got a letter two weeks later saying my iron was low and I should ask my GP for tablets but when I went to my gp he said he needed to know how low so sent me for more tests but after those he said my iron levels were fine. Then the next time I saw my midwife she wanted to check again - so more blood tests. Hadn't heard back from the midwife for a week and wont be seeing her again until 41 weeks so rang to find out results only to be told they wouldn't tell me over the phone! But I moaned and explained all my post is two weeks late due to the postal strikes so she checked for me and my iron levels are normal. Just wish the GP and hospital mw could have communicated more!

Talking about ebay deliveries my sister ordered me a present for my birthday - 17th September from ebay and it just arrived today. All my post has been late though, I'm still getting birthday cards that I know were posted on time. Bit stressed about the present actually, it's an alphabet cross stitch which is a really good idea but I don't like the disney characters on it so not sure what to do with it now, and my sister paid quite a bit for it :(

Gisi - thanks for the reminder about the 5 books for £5 voucher offer at Ikea, was just suggesting to OH we go after aquanatal tonight. Need to dig out 5 books now, can already see 3 from where am sitting so shouldn't be too hard. Hoping to get some cheapie face cloths to use as wipes and some hand towels for over change unit so bubs doesnt get too cold when getting changed.

Well post seems screwed up here have been waiting 3 days now for something I know was posted first class monday! Then again our post isn't great at the best of times lol.
