Hi everyone, hope you're all well and don't mind me joining you. I'm exactly 13 weeks with bub number 3, had my first scan yesterday which moved my dates by 3 days (in the right direction lol!) so my EDD is now 8th April 2010. I didn't realise how nervous I'd been about something being wrong, very emotional when I got home yesterday and slept amazingly well last night for the first time in ages!! We'd already decided to keep it just between us until the scan so now we need to tell everyone!

Anyway although this is third time round I'm bound to have loads of questions as my girls are 9 and 7 and so much seems to have changed since I had them! Also hoping I can be useful somewhere along the line! :D

    Hugs all round. x

    Congratulatsion :) and welcome

Elastigirl I am sorry your friends are being like that (((hugs))) xxx

    I really like this pram:

But do you think a red one would be ok if we were having a boy?

Glad I'm not the only one with 2 close together and then a gap then. :) Really hope my 2 take the news well, sure the older one will as she's already baby/toddler mad but not sure about about dd2 as she's a bit of a worrier. Guess we'll see!!

I think the pram is actually slightly nicer looking in red kindofagilr, and still unisex imo.

  • Kindof- we've got a red pram and don't know the flavour! I think red is pretty unisex.

Off to Ikea in a bit to drop off some books for this. It's a fab promotion if anyone has an Ikea close by.

Elastigirl, just had to comment on your friends. I have been their and get what you are feeling. I lost most of my friends (term used loosely lol) when i was pg with DD and it hurt at the time but it did help me to understand who were friends for me being me and who were friends for the sake of extra numbers at night's out and more gossip(well thats how it felt). I went out of my way when any friends were pg to make sure they weren't isolated etc but most didn't even return a call when i was pg and that really got me.

I ended up writing a list (hmm i'm always doing them lol) I put every ones names on it and started to keep track of who i called who replied to the calls, who invited me out or just came for a coffee etc.(gosh i sound sooooo sad). At the end of it i scored off the names of those that had no contact or had made little. One of them had only ever called to rant about what had happened at nights out etc that i was not invited to so she was struck off. One of them actually called me to complain that they had not been invited to a friends sisters birthday party 2 days after she had invited everyone apart from me to hers, big score through her name lol

In the end i had the names of the friends that wanted contact with me as true friends etc. That way i felt i was not wasting what little time and energy on the wrong people.

HTH and i don't sound too sad :rotfl:
Love the pram kindof, think the red stands out better but both are very attractive.
OOOWWWW just got ebay package. need to check it.
